The seventeen-year-old, Fully Injected representative, will make his first start, ever, at the famed half mile this weekend; and will look to use this Friday and Saturday as a valuable learning tool for the seasons to come.
The youngster is coming off of an impressive 2011 season; earning a top 5 finish in the final point standings at two different western Pennsylvania facilities. Matus also collected the first win of his young career back in August at the Lernerville Speedway.
The World of Outlaws sanctioned event at Williams Grove pays $50,000 to the winner of the Saturday night finale; as well as awarding $8,000 to the winner of Friday night’s preliminary feature.

Hopefully next year I can get a good group of people together and get it back to what Drak and Heather and everyone else who had a hand its creation deserve to see, and what the race fans came to expect. Thanks again to everyone I hope to see you there.”

Cory Haas ready for the Morgan Hughes National Open!
Perhaps one of the largest, and most prestigious, sprint car races in the country is about to happen this Friday and Saturday in central Pennsylvania; and Fully Injected’s central PA star, Cory Haas, is ready to jump into the mix.
The Morgan Hughes National Open, featuring the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series, is a two day event at the Williams Grove Speedway in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania; where the Pennsylvania Posse and World of Outlaws will collide for the last time in 2011. The world famous, half-mile dirt oval, will pay $50,000 to the winner of the National Open finale; while only granting the top 24 drivers the opportunity to compete for that top prize. Cory Haas, a former 358 sprint car champion at a few central PA tracks, plans to be a part of that 24 man lineup. The York, Pennsylvania native will be the only Fully Injected roster member to compete in this weekend’s event.
USAC Sprints head for Lawrenceburg!
The AMSOIL USAC National Sprints return to action this Saturday night, October 1st, for the “City of Lawrenceburg Fall Nationals” at Lawrenceburg Speedway, in Lawrenceburg, Indiana. The Cincinnati, Ohio suburb will host the USAC event, which is co-sanctioned with the MSCS sprints, and will pay a $10,000 winner’s purse; along with full points to those in national championship contention.
Levi Jones currently leads the USAC National Sprint standings by a mere 42 points heading into this weekend’s one-race event. Chris Windom is 2nd, followed by Jon Stanbrough.
Kyle Larson is the most recent winner with the premiere wingless sprint car series in the country; actually sweeping all three national divisions at the Eldora Speedway ‘Four Crown Nationals’ just last Saturday night.
Satterlee will head to Hummingbird for the Chili 100-Sue Mathews Memorial.
Hummingbird Speedway in Reynoldsville, Pennsylvania, is hosting the 12th Annual ‘Chili 100-Sue Mathews Memorial,’ this Saturday, October 1st; with $3,000 awaiting the winner of the 100 lap, super late model event. Gregg Satterlee, one of Fully Injected’s ‘Late Model Division’ stars, is expected to attend.
Satterlee, who is coming off of a recent super late model victory at Pittsburgh’s Pennsylvania Motor Speedway during the annual “Tri-Star Pittsburgher” weekend, will avoid joining his fellow teammate, Jared Miley, at the UFO event in Cumberland, Maryland, and instead, head north to try and capture Hummingbird score.
With action now limited in western Pennsylvania for late model teams this late in the season, a large car count at ‘The Bird’ is expected. Gates will open at 12:00 Noon, with warm-ups scheduled for just after 3:30.
Stay tuned right here at www.fullyinjected.com for more information regarding Gregg’s weekend at Hummingbird!
Miley seeks UFO win this weekend at ‘The Rock!’
“The Big Kahuna” – The name should explain it all.
This Friday and Saturday, September 30th and October 1st, the UFO Super Late Models will venture south to the Cumberland, Maryland fairgrounds for a two day event at The Rock Speedway. The sprawling 5/8′s mile oval will see $7,000 in total winner’s share be given away over the course of the weekend; with $2,000 going to the winner of the ‘Waikki Wave’ 30 lapper on Friday, and $5,000 going to 44 lap, ‘Big Kahuna’ Champion on Saturday. South Park, Pennsylvania native, Jared Miley, will be making his way south with the rest of the UFO heavy hitters; expecting to find victory lane to replace the heartache that happened at PPMS just a few weeks ago.
Miley, who is one of two super late model teammates on the Fully Injected roster, lead the “Tri-Star Pittsburgher” in dominating fashion just a few weeks ago, until misfortune struck the H1 with roughly 10 laps remaining. The South Park, Pennsylvania native, would have to surrender his dominating lead due to issues relating to the car’s drive shaft; leaving all possibility of a $7,000, ‘Tri-Star Pittsburgher’ victory out the window.
With $7,000 on the line again this weekend, Miley will look to capitalize on this opportunity to seek redemption, and put Fully Injected back in victory lane.

Shaffer has already captured the Great Plains Regional points championship in 2011. After this Saturday, only two (2) eastern region races remain on the entire All-Star schedule.
The most recent winner with the All-Star Circuit of Champions was Bryan Sebetto; the 2011 FAST Champion, who took $10,000 away from Tim Shaffer a few weeks ago at Fremont Speedway during the Jim Ford Classic.

Joe Martin and Jared Miley each earned top five finishes this evening at McKean County Raceway in East Smethport, Pennsylvania during the annual Fall Classic.
Jared Miley finished 5th tonight after starting 10th in the super late model feature event at McKean County Raceway. Miley unfortunately suffered from vision problems during the entire length of the feature, which eliminated his potential of finishing deeper within the top 5. Miley transferred to the main event by way of finishing 2nd in his respective heat race. Chub Frank took the Fall Classic victory over Rick Eckert and Dan Stone.
Joe Martin, who is one of only two Fastrak ‘Fully Injected’ competitors on the late model division roster, finished 2nd in tonight’s Fastrak “Fall Classic” feature event at McKean County Raceway. Brownsburg, Indiana’s, Joey Saldana, now has two consecutive World of Outlaw Sprint Car Series feature wins since his return to the Redbull, no. 9 cockpit. He picked up the victory earlier this evening at Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio. The former King’s Royal winner is quite familiar with Eldora Speedway and it’s prestigious victory lane, but also very familiar with its unforgiving attitude. Ironically, this is also the track that sidelined the Kasey Kahne Racing pilot, for a few months, after an accident during the King’s Royal weekend back in July of this year. There were 31 cars on hand for the $10,000 to win, Four Crown Nationals event this evening. Paul McMahan and Jason Meyers rounded out the top three in the feature rundown.
