Jason Johnson Back In Victory Lane – Wins WSS Avalon Speedweek Night Four!

WSS-Logo-final

American Jason Johnson became the third different winner in four nights to win a round of the 2012/2013 ENZED World Series Sprintcars Championship, presented by Hogs Breath Cafe when he annexed the 35 lap A-Main at Avalon Raceway Lara last night.

Johnson narrowly evaded the clutches of new series leader James McFadden throughout the feature race in front of a standing room only crowd that became very vocal after the chequered flags flew.

The GT Bobcat / HM Racing Maxim was on song all night and Johnson had clearly come to avenge his defeat at the hands of McFadden the night before in Mt. Gambier as the “Ragin Cajun” sizzled across the line.

“I tell you what it’s great to get a win here at Avalon, this place hasn’t always been the kindest to me in the past so it’s nice to get something positive from the experience here. It was great that they didn’t mess with the track and we got a racy surface to work with for the A-Main. I couldn’t be happier for the HM Racing guys who have been working their tails off all week to get us this result,” he proclaimed.

J-Mac is back – Wins Round 3 of World Series of Sprintcars!

WSS-Logo-final

December 30, 2012 – James McFadden wasted little time in atoning for the disappointment in the previous round with a flag to flag win in Night Three of the Enzed World Series Sprintcars Speedweek (presented by Hogs Breath Cafe) at Mt. Gambier’s Borderline Speedway overnight.

Despite being in considerable pain (McFadden spent most of the day in hospital leading up to the night) from an aggravated rib injury the defending WSS champ sped his Totally Workwear #25 COOL to an uninterrupted victory in the 35 lap A-Main final.

Dillon Does It Again; Two Straight WSS Wins to Open the 2012/2013 Season!

WSS-Logo-final

Dec 28, 2012 - South Aussie Luke Dillon pulled off a mammoth back to back Speedweek effort in winning his second consecutive Enzed World Series Sprintcars (presented by Hogs Breath Cafe) Speedweek main event at Murray Bridge Speedway tonight.

The second generation racer ran down race leader Steven Lines in the dying laps to rocket by on the lowline and drive away with an historic victory in his Action Line marking / Hogs Breath Cafe #81 Eagle, repeating the dose from the night before at Speedway City where he led home a SA trifecta.

He had to do it the hard way too, winning the B-Main earlier and coming from the eighth row of the grid in the 35 lap A-Main.

WSS-Logo-final

Luke Dillon dominated the 35 lap A-Main at Speedway City Virginia in Round One of the ENZED World Series Sprintcars Presented by Hog’s Breath Cafe, leading home an all South Australian podium in front of a huge and parochial home town crowd.

Despite a front wing post that had snapped off and speared right through the wing early in the Feature Race Dillon soldiered on and was never headed in the Action Line Marking / Hog’s Breath Cafe #81 Eagle.

Hot on his heels as the chequered flag flew was Dillon’s good friend Brad Keller who rocketed to a career best second place finish in the Fatchen Cartage Contractors #19 over Mt Gambier gasser Steven Lines in third in the Halls Motorsport #3 KPC.
