Travis Philo in search of an Attica Raceway Park points championship in 2012!
Fully Injected’s very own -Travis Philo- will spend his 2012 season chasing an ‘Attica Raceway Park Track Championship.’ The Ohio native plans to set his focus on the Attica points chase this summer, with the possibility of also following the entire F.A.S.T. Schedule (Fremont Attica Sprint Title).
Philo also discussed his intentions of competing against the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series and All-Star Circuit of Champions when his schedule permits it! Travis will look to improve on his seventh place finish in last year’s Attica Raceway Park track standings. Dean Jacobs claimed the track title.
Philo’s new Eagle Chassis will be powered by a Kistler power plant. The pictures above show the 5T with a new ‘black’ look – rather than it’s usual, more familiar ‘white’ look.
The Philo Motorsports team will take some time to visit eastern Ohio and western Pennsylvania during the upcoming season. The familiar 5T plans to make special trips to Wayne County Speedway in Orrville, Ohio; Lernerville Speedway in Sarver, Pennsylvania; and Pittsburgh’s Pennsylvania Motor Speedway in Imperial, Pennsylvania, to participate in highlighted season events!
Travis’ season kicks-off Friday, March 30th at the Attica Raceway Park ’2012 Opener!’
Philo Motorsports would like to thank a few sponsors including: Control Design Solutions, Banshee Graphics, Kistler Race Products, Fully Injected Clothing, and www.fullyinjected.com!

Buckeye Outlaw Sprint Series set to visit Pittsburgh and Mercer in 2012!
The newly formed BOSS Series (Buckeye Outlaw Sprint Series) is set to take on it’s first full schedule in 2012 – with hopes of attracting large car counts and dedicated ‘traditional’ sprint car fans across the Ohio/PA valley! The second year Ohio based wingless sprint car series will host roughly 15 shows over the course of the 2012 summer; including multiple appearances in Western Pennsylvania!
Mercer Raceway Park in Mercer, Pennsylvania hosts winged 410 sprint car racing on a weekly basis, and has had plenty of non-wing sprint car appearances in the past. Mercer Raceway Park will take advantage of another opportunity to host non-wing sprint car racing by allowing the BOSS Series to invade the racey 3/8′s mile oval on Saturday, May 19th.
The big half-mile at Pittsburgh’s Pennsylvania Motor Speedway will welcome the traveling non-wing sprinters with open arms in 2012. PPMS, who will also host the winged 410 sprint cars on multiple occasions this summer, plans to have the BOSS Series invade on Saturday, June 23rd! Although the facility hosts super late model and crate late model competition on a weekly basis, the blazing fast half-mile will be sure to attract sprint car fans and competitors from all across the region for this ‘must-see’ spectacle!
Other notable tracks hosting BOSS competition in 2012 include Sharon Speedway in Hartford, Ohio; Lawrenceburg Speedway in Lawrenceburg, Indiana; and Wayne County Speedway in Orrville, Ohio!
Check out the entire 2012 BOSS schedule HERE – or by clicking on the ’2012 Schedules’ tab in the menu above!

Adam Kekich finding himself closer and closer…
Hermitage, Pennsylvania native and Mercer Raceway Park ‘Rookie of the Year,’ Adam Kekich, continues with the off-season building process deep into the the winter months. The third generation driver hopes to ‘spread out’ this season and focus on a more ‘regional’ schedule – rather than compete at the same facility on a weekly basis. He will represent Fully Injected well in 2012!

Fully Injected’s newest member shows off new colors at ‘World of Wheels.’
Fully Injected’s newest crate late model star, Colton Flinner, shows off his new colors at the ‘World of Wheels’ show this past weekend in downtown Pittsburgh!
Flinner will spend most of his 2012 season racing at Pittsburgh’s Pennsylvania Motor Speedway in the crate late model division – while also traveling to select FASTRAK Northeast Touring Series events across the region when the time permits! He is the defending Pittsburgh’s Pennsylvania Motor Speedway Track Champion!

Fully Injected’s Brandon Spithaler looks to be a top ‘BOSS’ in 2012…
Evan City, Pennsylvania native and Fully Injected standout, Brandon Spithaler, will look to run most, if not all, of the BOSS Series races in 2012! The Western Pennsylvania native will also keep his familiar Cyclewarehouse no. 22 sprinter prepared for a hit and miss local and regional schedule – with intentions of racing against the All-Star Circuit of Champions when they invade the area.
The BOSS Series (Buckeye Outlaw Sprint Series) is an Ohio-based wingless sprint car series that looks to have a 12 – 15 race schedule in 2012; with most of the events located in Ohio and Western Pennsylvania! Spithaler will participate with this series on a ‘more than occasional’ basis; piloting the Superior Tank and Trailer no. 57 sprint car. Mercer Raceway Park in Mercer, Pennsylvania – where Brandon has been victorious in the past in a winged car – will play host to the non-wing travelers early in the season. This will be the first full year for the newly created series.
Spithaler shows lots of off-season progress; while also adding a little more color to his typical ‘flat black’ approach.
Spithaler, like many of his Fully Injected teammates, will not focus on a track championship in 2012; but instead, concentrate on traveling around the region and visiting new facilities!
Brandon Spithaler would like to thank all of his sponsors from 2011 (some of which are returning for 2012):
Superior Tank and Trailer
Cyclewarehouse
John Brown’s Custom Exhaust

Morgan Bagley wins $10,000 at Wild West Shootout finale!
Morgan Bagley picked up the $10,000 winners share this evening at USA Raceway in Tucson, Arizona during the Wild West Shootout finale! Billy Moyer was on pace to pick up his fourth victory of the six race series when bad luck struck, ending his quest on lap 30 with a lame car. Bagley inherited the lead and never looked back; winning round six of the Wild West Shootout and taking home the biggest pay day of the week.
Stay tuned for more super late model action in the near future as the Georgia/Florida speedweeks continue to get closer and closer!

Next Big Event: The 50th annual FUCHS Australian Sprintcar Championship at Speedway City! January 25th – 28th. More information to come soon!
Colton Flinner joins the F.I. ranks for 2012!
We are pleased to announce that seventeen year old Colton Flinner and his no. 75 Rocket has officially joined the Fully Injected ranks for the 2012 season and beyond! The Hampton High School senior has had lots of success on the racetrack in the past, and now plans to continue that success while representing Team Fully Injected.
Colton Flinner started his young racing career just like many others did; racing and excelling through the many different levels of go-kart competition. The nephew of local super late model star, John Flinner, took the kart racing world by storm; racking up multiple track championships – six to be exact – while winning over 150 races. By the time Colton turned 13, he and his father understood it was time to move on and try something different. A late model was purchased off of his uncle, and his career in crate late model racing was officially born.
Colton won his first career crate late model feature at Pittsburgh’s Pennsylvania Motor Speedway the day after his 15th birthday. That victory made Flinner the youngest driver to ever win a feature at PPMS in a crate late model. His Pittsburgh’s Pennsylvania Motor Speedway Track Championship in 2011 made Colton the youngest driver to ever win a track title in the crate late model class at PPMS; thus proving for a second time that age is not a factor. His current win total stands at five; with three of those five wins coming last season during his track championship charge.
We welcome Colton Flinner to Team Fully Injected. He will join four other ‘Late Model Division’ drivers including crate competitors Mike Reft and Joe Martin, and super late model stars, Jared Miley and Gregg Satterlee. You will be able to keep up with Colton during the entire 2012 season – right here at www.fullyinjected.com.
Flinner would like to thank his sponsors: Rocket chassis, All American Framers, A.w. Beattie technical school, Randig towing, Bellisario lounge, Jared Miley racing, Mike Johnson Racing, Flemming Tire, Vox Energy, JNJ Motorsports Media, Ingram Racing Engines.

Congratulations!
Billy Moyer wins again in Tucson!
Billy Moyer grabbed another win this evening during Wild West Shootout competition at USA Raceway in Tucson, Arizona! The round 5 victory was Moyer’s third of this year’s WWS, and was worth $3,000. This allows him to have the maximum amount of momentum entering tomorrow’s Wild West Shootout finale worth $10,000! Jeff Provinzino was 2nd this evening, followed by Jon Kirby.

Team U.S.A. up front ‘Down Under.’
In just the past few days, the United States has had many accomplished sprint car drivers not just in victory lane, but all over the results grid in Australia – against some very stiff Aussie competition. (Remember: take into consideration the time difference when reading this post…)

Although Johnson only secured a 9th place finish, the 25 lap preliminary feature saw another American find victory lane; Elk River, MN native Craig Dollansky.

Eighty-five cars were entered in the preliminary event last night; with all expected to return for tonight’s action! Fourteen American drivers are seeking an opportunity to grab a chunk of that prestigious purse, or even better: the $40,000 top prize.
Oklahoma native, Daryn Pittman, has been a very consistent competitor this ‘off-season’ in Australia.
