And then there was one; one night, one championship to decide!

Sarver, PA (August 21, 2014) After four months and 13 weeks of Fab Four Racing, only one title is left up for grabs as Carl Bowser, Alex Ferree and Rex King Jr. sealed their respective deals last Friday night; the 21st consecutive event at Lernerville Speedway without a rainout; absolutely remarkable for our sport! Weather may finally play a factor in this Friday’s Fab Four Racing finale, so be sure to check our website or follow us on Facebook and/or Twitter for updates.

Carl Bowser (Peoples TWP DIRTcar Sprints), Alex Ferree (Precise Racing Products DIRTcar Late Models) and Rex King Jr. (Diehl Auto Group DIRTcar Northeast Big Block Modifieds) have already claimed their crowns and place in Lernerville history.

Jim Fosnaught is patiently waiting to take his rightful place in the 40+ year history of the speedway, but is 17 points shy of clinching. Rob Shook still has a puncher’s chance to steal the crown away from Fosnaught, but will need to bring his A-game and hope for some bad luck for his buddy Jim Fosnaught. This would be the first Championship for either driver. Two-Time Defending Track Champion Corey McPherson has not yet been mathematically eliminated, but will likely be so at the completion of heat race action.

Numerous drivers are looking for their first win of the season on the final night; drivers like Eric Williams, Mike Lutz and Logan Wagner in the Peoples TWP Sprints, John Garvin Jr. and Kenny Schaltenbrand in the Precise Late Models and Mike Miller and Paul Schreckengost in the Pic-A-Part Sportsman. Previous feature winners AJ Flick, Brian Swartzlander and Dave Murdick still seek their first feature wins in the Sprints and Late Models, while some drivers, (Billy Dietrich, Garrett Krummert, Steve Feder, Brad Rapp, Aaron Easler, Brett McDonald and Joey Zambotti), are looking for the first ever Lernerville feature win.

Next Friday, August 29 marks the return of the World of Outlaws Late Model Series to the Action Track for the Working Man 50. In addition to a full World of Outlaw Late Model Series program, we will also be making up the Uncle Sam 30 that was postponed by rain on Firecracker weekend! Tickets are just $29 for Reserved or General Admission tickets and as always, Kids 10 & under will be admitted FREE with a paying adult.

After the final Fast Friday of the 2014 season, we will be shifting to “Saturdays in September” for a trio of events starting with Autumn-Motive Fest 2014 on September 6 featuring the Sportsman/Stock Spectacular, Rush Modifieds and the only Demolition Derby on the 2014 schedule. The following Saturday, September 13 is “Back to School” Bus & Kids Bike Races, plus Senior Series Stocks and Enduro Twin 50s. Our weekly program will come to a close with the Worlds of Outlaws STP Sprint Car Series Commonwealth Clash presented by GottaRace.com on Saturday, September 20. Then, after about a month’s hiatus, we’ll bring the 2014 season to a dramatic finish with the 6th Annual DIRTcar Round Up Steel City Stampede on Thursday-Friday-Saturday, October 23-24-25.
