MYERSTOWN, Pa. (July 31, 2018) – Brent Marks’ New York road trip with the Greatest Show On Dirt was a complete success, earning back-to-back top-ten finishes during starts at Ransomville Speedway and Weedsport Speedway, respectively, eventually highlighting his visit to the Empire State with a victory in Weedsport.

Marks, now a two-time main event winner with the World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series in 2018, displayed pure dominance at Weedsport Speedway, ultimately leading all 35 laps of the $10,000-to-win main event from the pole position. The “Myerstown Missile” earned his pole position by way of dash victory, earning a dash spot by finishing second during his respective heat race.

“What a night. I’m so proud of this race team,” Brent Marks explained, driver of the Brent Marks Racing/M&M Painting & Construction/BAPS Auto Paint & Supply/Eagle Hotel/No. 19. “Things are starting to click and it feels pretty good. This is a great time of year to get hot.”

Before earning his victory at the state-of-the-art Weedsport Speedway, Brent Marks recorded a top-ten finish during main event competition at Ransomville Speedway. Marks finished seventh at the final checkers, advancing two spots after starting on the inside of row five.

Marks now owns World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series victories in two states, adding his recent Weedsport triumph to a list that already includes a victory at Wilmot Raceway in Wilmot, Wisconsin.

Up next on the schedule, Brent Marks and Brent Marks Racing will travel west and invade the highbanks of Federated Auto Parts Raceway at I-55 in Pevely, Mo., on Friday and Saturday, August 3 & 4. Dubbed the Ironman 55, the two-day program will feature back-to-back complete shows each lasting 55 laps in distance, awarding $20,000 to each main event winner.

Marks will enter the weekend ninth in the current World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series championship standings padded by two victories, 18 top-tens, and six top-five finishes.
