Brock Zearfoss 15th During “Tune-Up,” Outlaws and Morgan Cup Next!

JONESTOWN, Pa. (May 16, 2016) – For the first time in 2016, the “Jonestown Jet” Brock Zearfoss will join the World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series in Central Pennsylvania, aiming to score not only a career first main event victory with the national travelers, but help keep the Morgan Cup at Williams Grove Speedway.
Zearfoss, pilot of the Brock Zearfoss Racing, Moose’s LZ Bar & Grill, Meckley’s Limestone, Central Builders Supply Co., Leach’s Automotive, No. 3Z, will join the “Greatest Show on Dirt” on Friday and Saturday, May 20-21, at Williams Grove Speedway in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania. The two-day showcase will feature two complete programs, highlighted with a $12,000-to-win main event on Saturday evening, also awarding a $5,000 bonus on behalf of the Morgan Cup. The winner of Saturday night’s main event will determine where the Morgan Cup will stay for the next 12 months, either in North Carolina with the World of Outlaws, or in Central Pennsylvania with the “Pennsylvania Posse.” The two-day World of Outlaws invasion will be the first of three appearances at Williams Grove Speedway in 2016
“We’ve been waiting for this opportunity since last season,” explained Brock Zearfoss. “When the World of Outlaws invade our area, it creates a lot of hype and excitement. We’re more than thrilled to be a part of it. We’ve been creating a lot of speed this year, so we’re anxious to put that to work this weekend. I can’t thank my team and sponsors enough for this opportunity. We’ll work to put ourselves in a solid position right from the start and try to get up front.”
Brock Zearfoss will enter the upcoming weekend with a recent start at Williams Grove Speedway, finishing 15th during the “Outlaw Tune-Up” on Friday night, May 13. The “Jonestown Jet” has two top-ten finishes at the world famous, half-mile oval in 2016, finishing as high as fourth on Friday, April 1.
