Brock Zearfoss finishes third at Susquehanna; Champion Racing Oil Summer Nationals next

By Fully Injected Motorsports:

JONESTOWN, PA (July 17, 2017) –  Continuing a trend of recent successes in Central Pennsylvania, one of which an eighth place performance at Port Royal Speedway on Saturday, July 15, the “Jonestown Jet” Brock Zearfoss ended his recent stretch of competition with a podium run on Sunday evening, July 16, at Susquehanna Speedway, crossing under the final checkers third in the BAPS Night running order. The York County oval has been kind to Zearfoss in 2017, also finishing fourth on Sunday, April 9.

In connection to his recent top-ten finish at Port Royal, Zearfoss has finished eighth or better at the Port Royal Speedway “Speed Palace” on 11 separate occasions in 2017, one being a victory. The pilot of the Brock Zearfoss Racing/BAPS Auto Paint & Supply/No. 3Z entry is currently fourth in the track championship chase and continues to work toward a first-ever track championship with the Pennsylvania Posse.

“Another solid and consistent weekend for our team. I can’t say enough about what we have been able to accomplish this year. It keeps everyone motivated,” Brock Zearfoss explained regarding recent results. “We have a big weekend ahead of us. The World of Outlaws are back in town,  with that comes a lot of hype. I’ll be driving for Aaron Long during both World of Outlaws programs at The Grove. We’ve proved recently that we have what it takes to be up front. That’s exactly our goal for this weekend; work our way to the front.”

Brock Zearfoss will continue his 2017 campaign with World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series competition, this time joining the Greatest Show On Dirt for the Champion Racing Oil Summer Nationals at Williams Grove Speedway on Friday and Saturday, July 21-22. Zearfoss will pilot the Aaron Long-owed, H&N Landscaping/RV 4 Wheel Drive/Leahys Auto Body & Towing backed No. 58 during his two-day World of Outlaws stint, aiming to score $20,000 during the Summer Nationals finale.

“It all comes down to qualifying. That determines everything,” Brock Zearfoss explained. “Aaron Long provides me with the equipment necessary to be competitive on the race track. Hopefully we can draw ourselves a solid pill and get out on the track early during qualifying. If we can plant ourselves toward the front of a heat race, I think we’ll be OK. The last thing we want to do is bury ourselves after qualifying.”
