Brock Zearfoss will officially be crowned Port Royal Speedway champion on Saturday

PORT ROYAL, PA (November 14, 2017) – Ending his 2017 campaign with five victories at the Juniata County Fairgrounds half-mile, the “Jonestown Jet” Brock Zearfoss will officially be crowned Port Royal Speedway Track Champion during the season-ending banquet on Saturday, November 18. The title, a first-ever for the Jonestown native, was solidified during Tuscarora 50 weekend by a mere-five markers, placing Zearfoss on a list that includes Keith Kauffman, Lance Dewease, Todd Shaffer, and Larry “Smokey” Snellbaker.
“We’ve been waiting for this since the beginning of the season,” Brock Zearfoss explained, who drove his familiar Brock Zearfoss Racing/Moose’s LZ Bar & Grill/Meckley’s Limestone/Central Builders Supply Co./Berkebile Oil Company/BAPS Auto Paint & Supply/No. 3Z to a track title. “It was important to us to earn a track championship at one point or another. Now that we have that under our belts, we can aim a little bit higher and attempt to earn some bigger things.”
Brock Zearfoss Racing will announce their upcoming schedule sometime during the next few weeks. The team will attempt to travel as often as possible in 2018, hitting and missing regional headliners alongside the Arctic Cat All Star Circuit of Champions, as well as the World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series.

Earned third Port Royal Speedway victory of season on Saturday, August 19. Finished fifth against Arctic Cat All Stars at Susquehanna Speedway on Sunday, August 20. Earned a third place finish at Williams Grove Speedway on August 25, followed by a victory at Port Royal Speedway on August 26; fifth victory of the season/fourth at Port Royal. Earned victory during the Williams Grove Speedway Billy Kimmel Memorial. Finished second during Labor Day Classic at Port Royal Speedway. Finished third during 50th Annual Tuscarora 50 at Port Royal Speedway. Finished second against the Arctic Cat All Stars at Selinsgrove Speedway on September 16. Finished fourth during Thursday Night Thunder at Susquehanna Speedway on September 21. Finished ninth during Champion Racing Oil National Open at Williams Grove Speedway on Saturday, September 30. Finished second during the “Run What You Brung” program at Williams Grove Speedway on Friday, October 6. Earned seventh win of the season during Port Royal Speedway’s finale, Open Wheel Madness. Rallied from ninth to finish fourth during Susquehanna Speedway’s Final Showdown. Ended 2017 season with a pair of WoO main event starts at The Dirt Track at Charlotte (NC).
