Fremont, OH (April 21st 2015) – Defending Kistler Racing Products Fremont/Attica Sprint Title ‘410’ Championship Series presented by KS Sales & Service champion Byron Reed finds himself in control of the current F.A.S.T. standings after the opening weekend of competition. Reed used a pair of runner-up finishes during the first two rounds of F.A.S.T. action on April 17th & 18th to propel himself to the top of the rankings; leading Dean Jacobs by eleven markers heading into round #3 on Friday, May 1st. Cap Henry, Chris Andrews and Craig Mintz round out the top-five in the current championship standings.

The F.A.S.T. season officially kicked-off on Friday evening, April 17th at the Attica Raceway Park in Attica, Ohio where it was Ohio veteran Dean Jacobs earning the victory. Jacobs led the entire distance on Friday night; controlling the entire caution-free thirty-lap feature for his first win of the season. Byron Reed, who nearly got by Jacobs on the final circuit, would finish in the runner-up position, followed by UNOH All Star regular Chad Kemenah, Cap Henry, and D.J. Foos.

The F.A.S.T. ‘410’ schedule continued on Saturday evening, April 18th at the Fremont Speedway in Fremont, Ohio. It was Chris Andrews earning his first F.A.S.T. feature victory of the 2015 season on Saturday night; holding off defending series champion Byron Reed and former series champion Craig Mintz. Cap Henry and Brian Smith completed the top-five finishers. Andrews won the 30-lap main event from the pole position; surviving multiple cautions and a red flag to secure his appearance in victory lane. The F.A.S.T. ‘410’ Championship Series sprint cars will continue their 2015 campaign on Friday and Saturday, May 1st & 2nd back at Attica Raceway Park and Fremont Speedway.

The JLH General Contractors Fremont/Attica Sprint Title ‘305’ Championship Series presented by Engine Pro launched its 2015 season on Friday and Saturday, April 17th & 18th as well; hosting events at Attica Raceway Park and Fremont Speedway. Bobby Clark finds himself in control of the current F.A.S.T. ‘305’ standings after earning a runner-up finish and a victory during opening weekend; leading fellow F.A.S.T. opening weekend winner Jordan Ryan by sixteen markers. Rounding out the top-five in the current F.A.S.T. ‘305’ championship standings are Steve Rando, Alvin Roepke, and Jamie Miller.

Jordan Ryan opened his 2015 F.A.S.T. ‘305’ campaign with a win at the Attica Raceway Park on Friday evening, April 17th; holding off sixth starting Bobby Clark and fifth starting Jamie Miller for the victory during a dramatic simultaneous green/white flag restart. Alvin Roepke charged from tenth to fourth during opening night; Steve Rando would complete the top-five.

Current point leader Bobby Clark earned his first F.A.S.T. ‘305’ victory of 2015 on Saturday evening, April 18th at the Fremont Speedway; taking advantage of Steve Rando’s issues with lapped traffic with less than five laps remaining. For Clark, it was a perfect evening at ‘The Track That Action Built;’ sweeping heat race and main event action. Steve Rando would hang on for second; followed by Texas native T.J. Michael, hard charger Alvin Roepke, and Ricky Peterson. JLH General Contractors Fremont/Attica Sprint Title ‘305’ Championship Series presented by Engine Pro action will continue on Friday and Saturday, May 15th & 16th at ‘ARP’ and Fremont Speedway.

There are currently 18 dates on the F.A.S.T. ‘410’ Championship Series schedule in 2015; stretching from mid-April until early August. The F.A.S.T. ‘305’ sprinters will headline 11 events in 2015, with an inaugural visit to the Waynesfield Raceway Park scheduled for Saturday, July 4th. The 2015 F.A.S.T. ‘410’ title will once again be worth $10,000 to the series champion. $2,000 will be awarded to the 2015 F.A.S.T. ‘305’ series champion.
