Chase Dietz Will Make Return on Saturday at Lincoln!
Set to Pilot Family-Owned 2D

By Fully Injected Motorsports:

YORK, Pa. (April 20, 2016) –  After a short hiatus from the racing scene, York’s own Chase Dietz will make his return to 410 sprint car competition this Saturday evening, April 23, at Lincoln Speedway in Abbottstown, Pennsylvania. The 2015 North American 410 Sprint Car Rookie of the Year will debut his family-owned No. 2D during his upcoming appearance in the Pigeon Hills, set to enter action for the first time since March 6.

“Feels good to be back,” explained Chase Dietz, “I’ve been patient, still trying to learn as much as I can even when not behind the wheel. With the help from my family and sponsors, I can pick up right where I left off. I can’t thank everyone enough; my mom, dad, Haas Shocks, Godfrey Racing Engines, Embee & Sons, Gardy Enterprises, Mark’s Automotive, Pancho’s Race Products, Keizer Wheels, Beer Hill Gang – they all played a huge role in bringing the ‘2D’ back to life. We’ve been putting this team together part by part the last few weeks. I can’t wait to get back in my seat.”

Chase Dietz is a one-time main event winner during 410 sprint car competition at Lincoln Speedway. The third generation racer made two starts in 2016 before separating from his former car owner, resulting in a seventh place finish during Lincoln’s Icebreaker 30 on Sunday, February 28.

“We basically have to start fresh,” said Dietz. “We only made a few starts this year before having to rebuild our own team. I think we’ll be just fine. It will take us a week or so to get back into rhythm, but I’m confident we’ll be competitive.”
