The 26th annual Lucas Oil Chili Bowl Nationals presented by General Tire is set to kick off in less than five days. Well over 200 entries have already registered for the event; making it one of the most anticipated short track gatherings in the world.

Drivers from all corners of the planet will gather in Tulsa, Oklahoma next week for an opportunity to claim the Lucas Oil Chili Bowl Nationals title; and even further more, knock off the ‘Swindell Streak.’

Kevin Swindell is the two-time and defending event winner – with his father, three time World of Outlaws Champion Sammy Swindell, taking the crown three years ago. The last individual to win a Chili Bowl Nationals title that was not a ‘Swindell’ was Damion Gardner – a USAC wingless sprint star from California who won the Chili Bowl Nationals in 2008.

Qualifying is set to begin on Tuesday, January 10th – with the 50 lap finale scheduled for Saturday, January 14th!
