Colton Flinner Will Work for Career-First Lucas Oil Start at PPMS
Hopes to Represent PPMS Proudly at annual “Pittsburgher”

Allison Park, PA (August 26, 2015) – Super late model sophomore Colton Flinner will attempt to accomplish another career-first feat this weekend during the annual “Pittsburgher 100” at Pittsburgh’s Pennsylvania Motor Speedway. Flinner, who recently earned his career-first super late model victory, will join the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series, the best-of-the-best, this Friday and Saturday with intentions to qualify for the $20,000-to-win, “Pittsburgher 100” main event. The pilot of the American Framers, VOX Energy, A.W. Beattie Career Center, Bellisarios Lounge, Randig Towing, Paradise Vending, Clean Impression by Michelle, Wrap It, #75, super late model, has never qualified for a LOLMDS program, but hopes to represent “P.P.M.S.” proudly during the two-day spectacle and cross off one more item from his racing bucket list.

“I can’t wait to get down there” said Colton Flinner; a five-time late model winner in 2015 during crate and super late model action, “The best in the country will be at Pittsburgh all weekend and to be a part of that mix is really special. Our goal is to put ourselves in a great position all weekend. I’ve been watching some of the Lucas touring drivers all of my life and to have the opportunity to race against them is something I can’t describe. We want to represent our home track well and qualify for the main event on Saturday night.”

Colton Flinner, a former two-time crate late model track champion at Pittsburgh’s Pennsylvania Motor Speedway, will join the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series on Friday evening, August 28, and participate in qualifying time trials and heat race competition. The 27th running of the famous “Pittsburgher 100” will take shape the following evening, Saturday, August 29. Flinner will jump start his weekend will a regular “Action Event” on Thursday evening, August 27; a perfect opportunity to dial-in his super late model before “Pittsburgher 100” competition officially begins on Friday.

Flinner will also participate in the RUSH crate late model portion of the “Pittsburgher 100” weekend, driving for car owner Bob Bentz.
