YORK, Pa. (June 10, 2019) – Although frustrated with their Thursday night outcome at BAPS Motor Speedway, forced to retire early due to mechanical issues after starting on the front row, Cory Haas and Trone Outdoor Motorsports rebounded to the best of their ability, eventually highlighting the weekend with a seventh place finish at Williams Grove Speedway on Friday, June 8.
“We actually had a plug wire come off of the motor, so that ended our night pretty quick,” Cory Haas said of his start at BAPS Motor Speedway, driver of the Tone Outdoor Motorsports/Old Republic Distillery/Bricker’s/Wicked Cushion/York PB Truss/No. 39 sprint car. “Regardless, we were able to bounce back some and get a top-ten at Williams Grove Speedway the following night. That’s a great thing to have on your side; the ability to put bad results behind you and move forward.”
In addition to his visits to BAPS Motor Speedway and Williams Grove Speedway, Cory Haas made the trip to the Port Royal Speedway ‘Speed Palace’ on Saturday, June 8, and participated in their Twin 20s program awarding $3,000 each. Haas finished 13th and 11th, respectively, during the doubleheader.
Up next on the schedule, Cory Haas and Trone Outdoor Motorsports will visit Williams Grove Speedway and Lincoln Speedway on Friday and Saturday, June 14 & 15, respectively.
