YORK, Pa. (July 8, 2019) – Despite participating in a limited Pennsylvania Sprint Speedweek schedule, York, Pennsylvania’s Cory Haas did not finish with limited results, ending his six-race campaign with three top-ten performances, highlighting all results with an incredible charge from 16th to finish fifth at the ‘Fabulous’ Lincoln Speedway on Saturday, June 29.
In addition, Haas, driver of John Trone’s Trone Outdoor Motorsports/Trone Outdoor Advertising/York PB Truss/Old Republic Distillery/Bricker’s/Wicked Cushion/Creekside Auto Sales/No. 39 sprint car, earned top-ten performances during starts at Williams Grove Speedway to open Speedweek on June 28, as well as at Port Royal Speedway to close-out PA Sprint Speedweek on July 6. The Williams Grove Speedway and Port Royal Speedway results were ninth place finishes.
“Not a bad week. We ran into some tough luck here and there, but all in all, it was a solid few races for our team,” Cory Haas explained, who earned two Central Pennsylvania victories in 2018. “John Trone does a great job providing me with the equipment necessary to win races. We’ve been close, and we’ve definitely shown a lot of speed at certain times, all we need to do now is put it all together. We’ve got some wins coming our way soon.”
Cory Haas and Trone Outdoor Motorsports will continue their 2019 campaign with another round of action in Pennsylvania Posse Country. The tentative plan includes visiting Williams Grove Speedway on Friday, July 12, and Lincoln Speedway on Saturday, July 13.
