Danny Dietrich Defends Posse Dirt Against Invading All Stars, Three Events Ahead!

GETTYSBURG, PA (August 22, 2016) – Danny Dietrich battled tough for two top-ten finishes against the Arctic Cat All Star Circuit of Champions during the recent weekend, earning one main event victory in the process, raising his season win total to six. The victory, occurring at Lincoln Speedway on Saturday, August 20, after starting second on the feature grid, earned the Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, native $5,000 for his efforts, winning by nearly three seconds over a pair of fellow “Pennsylvania Posse” competitors, Alan Krimes and Lucas Wolfe. The Arctic Cat All Star victory was his second of the season, also beating the traveling series at Selinsgrove Speedway in Selinsgrove with a final lap pass over Dave Blaney in late April.

“We were pretty happy to be back at Lincoln Speedway,” Dietrich said. “I feel like we haven’t been there in a long time. I think we have something figured out with this race car. We still have a lot of racing left. I plan to keep this success going and work for some more wins down the road.”

Dietrich, pilot of the Gary Kauffman Racing, Sandoe’s Fruit Market, Hickory Run Orchards, Weikert’s Livestock, Carlisle Auto Salvage, CATS Used Truck Parts, No. 48 entry, earned his first Arctic Cat All Star top-ten finish of the recent weekend by finishing sixth on Friday night, August 19, at the Williams Grove Speedway in Mechanicsburg. “Double-D” now has four top-ten finishes on the season during Arctic Cat All Star CIrcuit of Champions competition in just eight main event starts.

Danny Dietrich and crew will move ahead and begin preparing for three Central Pennsylvania events in three days during the upcoming weekend, including reappearances at Williams Grove Speedway and Lincoln Speedway. The six-time main event winner thus far in 2016 will enter action on Friday through Sunday, August 26-28, visiting Williams Grove Speedway and Lincoln Speedway on Friday and Saturday, capped off with the Fred Rahmer promoted Party at the Path at Path Valley Speedway Park on Sunday, August 28.

“We’ll just keep doing what we’ve been doing,” Dietrich said. “We’re having fun right now and that’s pretty important. My guys now how to work hard, but keep things entertaining. I have the best team in the business right now and I owe all of our successes to them. My major sponsors, fans, car owner, crew; they all play a huge role in what we do.
