Danny Holtgraver Ends Ohio Sprint Speedweek Campaign with Three Top-Five Finishes,

Michigan Road Trip Ahead

PITTSBURGH (June 28, 2016) – “Downtown” Danny Holtgraver rolled through Ohio Sprint Speedweek presented by Cometic Gasket with the Arctic Cat All Star Circuit of Champions with plenty of consistency, earning three top-five finishes during his eight feature starts, highlighted with a podium performance at Sharon Speedway on Tuesday, June 21. The Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, native ended his nine day campaign across Ohio sixth in the final Ohio Sprint Speedweek standings, just 14 points outside of the top-five. In addition to his third place finish at Sharon Speedway, Holtgraver finished fourth at Wayne County Speedway and fifth at Eldora Speedway, bettering most of the 46-car average throughout the course of the week.

“We had a really good week. I can’t thank my guys enough for their hard work,” explained Danny Holtgraver. “A few starts didn’t go the way we wanted them to, but we made up for it in between. Cody Jacobs, my dad, Mike, Alex, Ben; they all worked their butts off. It was a hot week and a long week, but we didn’t expect anything less.”

Danny Holtgraver, pilot of Pete Grove’s Premier Motorsports, Linc Systems, Olympic Forest Products, Lutes Custom Cabinetry, Premier Pallet, Bonnell’s Rod Shop, Alternative Power Sources, Westview Motors, DKW Transport, J&J Auto Racing, Simpson Race Products, Fully Injected Motorsports, Winters, AL Driveline, No. 70, will attempt to transition his Ohio Sprint Speedweek momentum toward his upcoming Michigan road trip.

Holtgraver will rejoin the Arctic Cat All Star Circuit of Champions this Saturday and Sunday, July 2-3, for back-to-back programs in The Great Lakes State. Competition will take shape at the Hartford Speedway in Hartford, Michigan, on Saturday, July 2, followed by an appearance at the I-96 Speedway in Lake Odessa, Michigan, on Sunday, July 3.

“I can’t thank Pete Grove enough for this opportunity,” said Holtgraver. “He continues to give us the tools and equipment necessary to be successful. We all feel pretty good right now. We’re excited to get back at it this weekend.”

Danny Holtgraver will enter the Michigan doubleheader currently sixth in the Arctic Cat All Star Circuit of Champions standings, earning one victory and eight top-five finishes in the process.
