Fremont, OH (July 28th, 2014) – F.A.S.T. action is quickly coming to a close for the 2014 season; in fact, only three (3) events remain for the Kistler Racing Products Fremont/Attica Sprint Title Championship Series presented by KS Sales & Service; including two (2) during the upcoming weekend. The JLH General Contractors Fremont/Attica Sprint Title ‘305’ Championship Series presented by Engine Pro only has two (2) events remaining on its 2014 racing schedule; with one (1) being featured during the upcoming weekend. Both F.A.S.T. championships will come to a close on Saturday evening, September 6th at the Fremont Speedway in Fremont, Ohio. F.A.S.T. promoter Rich Farmer will crown two (2) champions on that night; as well as hand out two (2) championship checks. The F.A.S.T. ‘410’ Championship Series champion will earn a $10,000 pay day; with this year’s F.A.S.T. ‘305’ Championship Series champion earning $2,000.

“Its been a pretty successful season so far…it wouldn’t be possible without the continuing support from our sponsors and the teams that participate” explained Rich Farmer, “Its been really competitive this year…and with the weather only interfering with two shows so far, I’d say that makes us pretty lucky…the next few races should be exciting…the point standings are close; that makes it even better!”

The F.A.S.T. organization will host three (3) events during the upcoming weekend; making its usual visits to the Attica Raceway Park and Fremont Speedway. Attica Raceway Park will host the F.A.S.T. ‘410’ Championship Series and F.A.S.T. ‘305’ Championship Series for the final time in 2014 this Friday evening, August 1st. It will be the only event of the weekend for the JLH General Contractors Fremont/Attica Sprint Title ‘305’ Championship Series presented by Engine Pro. F.A.S.T. ‘305’ competitors will conclude their 2014 campaign on Saturday evening, September 6th at the Fremont Speedway.

Although the F.A.S.T. ‘305’ Championship Series will only be featured once during the upcoming weekend, the stars and cars of the Kistler Racing Products Fremont/Attica Sprint Title Championship Series presented by KS Sales & Service will be featured twice; returning to action on Saturday, August 2nd at the Fremont Speedway for the final time before their season finale at Fremont on September 6th. The final ‘full’ weekend of F.A.S.T. competition should prove to be thrilling; as the championship standings continue to be ‘too close to call.’

Two-time feature winner with the series in 2014, Chris Andrews, currently finds himself on top of the F.A.S.T. ‘410’ Championship Series point standings with 1697 points heading into this weekend’s pair of events; holding a thirty-four (34) point advantage over former series champion, Byron Reed. Reed, who still remains winless in 2014 during F.A.S.T. competition, sits second in the standings with 1663 points. Caleb Griffith, Brian Lay and Travis Philo find themselves third through fifth in the updated championship rankings; with Griffith and Lay each earning two (2) F.A.S.T. victories along the way. Defending series champion, Craig Mintz, is another two-time winner during F.A.S.T. action in 2014, but a streak of absences due to injury has kept Mintz out of championship reach. Besides ‘Mother Nature’ on July 26th, Caleb Griffith is the most recent series winner; stealing the show from Greg Wilson on Friday, July 25th at Attica Raceway Park.

John Ivy’s top-ten performance at Attica Raceway Park last Friday evening, July 25th allowed the veteran to take back the top spot in the current F.A.S.T. ‘305’ Championship Series standings; holding a three (3) point advantage over Steve Rando heading into the August 1st program. Nate Dussel, Jordan Ryan and Dustin Dinan sit third through fifth in the standings; with Dussel and Ivy being the only drivers inside the top-five with F.A.S.T. ‘305’ wins on the year. Nate Dussel is the most recent series winner; earning his first F.A.S.T. victory of 2014 at Attica Raceway Park on Friday, July 25th. Dussel was denied the opportunity to sweep the weekend; with ‘Mother Nature’ claiming a washout at Fremont on Saturday, July 26th.
