First Of Final Two Williams Grove Speedway Sprint Point Shows Is Friday
Will Fred Rahmer return to attempt getting the 410 sprint title?

10/6/13
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Mechanicsburg – The final two point shows of the season at Williams Grove Speedway are on tap as the middle of October arrives, the first show being spun off this Friday, October 11.

The Lawrence Chevrolet 410 and Tool Shed of America 358 sprint cars are on the program for a 7:30 start.

The see-saw point battle to be the 2013 410 sprint titlist continued over the past weekend with Greg Hodnett taking over the point lead after Friday action before Fred Rahmer went back out in front after his National Open victory on Saturday.

However Rahmer’s lead is just a scant 35 markers over Hodnett with the two shows to go.

And Rahmer has yet to decide if his National Open run was his last-ever sprint car race or if he will return to competition and try to record yet another Williams Grove track tittle despite the chance to halt his career with a Cinderella ending in the Open.

Only time will tell of Rahmer’s decision.

If he doesn’t return, the title will virtually be handed to Greg Hodnett who is going for his second track crown in a row.

But it’s for sure that time is running out to catch sprint car action at Williams Grove Speedway this season as following the October 11 program, the point champions will be crowned one week later on October 18.

And then the features only Fall Fest for 410 and 358 sprints, super sportsman and 358 late models will end the season on October 26.
