YORK, Pa. (June 17, 2019) – Cory Haas’ 2019 top-ten count keeps climbing, doing so by finishing ninth at Williams Grove Speedway on Friday evening, June 14; his fifth of the season at the world-famous half-mile which includes a podium performance on March 29, as well as an eighth place finish during the high-dollar Lynn Paxton Tribute.

For Haas, the consistency is paying off, as the York-native is currently sixth in the track championship standings.

“We want wins, but being consistent and racking up top-ten finishes is just as important,” Cory Haas explained, driver of the Trone Outdoor Motorsports/York PB Truss/Bricker’s/Old Republic Distillery/Creekside Auto Sales/Wicked Cushion/No. 39 sprint car. “I have a hard working team and I appreciate their efforts. We’ve had some bad luck, as well as mechanical issues here and there, but they never give up. We have the speed to win. We just need to find a way to put it all together.”

Cory Haas and Trone Outdoor Motorsports will continue their 2019 campaign with another stretch of Central Pennsylvania competition during the coming weekend; a perfect test session before Pennsylvania Sprint Speedweek ignites on June 28 at Williams Grove Speedway.

Haas and Trone Outdoor Motorsports are expected to attend a handful of Speedweek programs including a pair at Lincoln Speedway, each awarding $7,000.
