By Fully Injected Motorsports:

YORK, Pa. (June 24, 2019) – It was a productive evening for Cory Haas at Williams Grove Speedway on Friday night, not only earning a heat race victory, but also solidifying a 12th place performance after starting 18th on the feature grid. The 25-lap, full-handicap program went wire-to-wire, ultimately keeping Haas from reaching maximum potential.

Unfortunately, Haas was unable to keep his positive momentum going forward on Saturday night during his visit to the ‘Fabulous’ Lincoln Speedway. Contact with another competitor during main event action forced Haas to retire early; he was scored 17th.

“I think we were better than 12th on Friday,” Cory Haas explained, driver of the Trone Outdoor Motorsports/Trone Outdoor Advertising/Wicked Cushion/Bricker’s/Old Republic Distillery/Creekside Auto Sales/No. 39 sprint car. “Non-stop races can be great, but we needed a caution or two to give ourselves a real chance at getting into the top-ten. The field can get really stretched out and it’s tough to make up ground. Regardless, I’m proud of the team. We have six Speedweek races circled on our schedule. We’re excited to get started.”

Taking over all headlines on the Central Pennsylvania circuit between June 28 and July 6, Cory Haas and John Trone’s Trone Outdoor Motorsports will enter six Pennsylvania Sprint Speedweek programs in 2019; two at Williams Grove Speedway (6/28, 7/5), two at Lincoln Speedway (6/29, 7/1), and two at Port Royal Speedway (6/3, 6/6). Each Speedweek program will award a minimum of $5,000.
