Fully Injected’s lone ‘All-Star Ohio Region’ competitor in 2011, Danny Holtgraver, finished 2nd this weekend at Pittsburgh’s Pennsylvania Motor Speedway during the ‘Super 6 Monster Mania’ event featuring the 410 sprint cars. The Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, native started in row number 6 of the 21 lap main event and made his way to the front in a hurry; leading a large portion of the event. A late race caution would halt the former PPMS winner’s momentum; as Apollo, Pennsylvania’s, Ed Lynch Jr., would capitalize on a restart slip up and pass Holtgraver for the $2,500 victory. Danny would hang on to finish 2nd. Holtgraver and Lynch each claimed a heat race victory.
Travis Philo, a northwestern Ohio native and Fully Injected rep, finished 7th Saturday night at Pittsburgh. The Attica Raceway Park regular was the only other Fully Injected endorsed pilot to finish inside the top 10 on Saturday night.
