The Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania native, Danny Holtgraver, will now have the opportunity to race in the prestigious Williams Grove Speedway ‘National Open,’ featuring the World of Outlaws, this Friday, October 7th.  After being directed away from the event last Saturday due to All-Star Series commitments in Ohio, the D4 program was still able to secure a top 10 finish with the All-Stars at Eldora. When the team was notified that the ‘Morgan Hughes National Open’ was cancelled due to inclement weather; the decision was instantly made to make the trip east the following weekend.

With the $50,000 to win, National Open finale, losing a fight to Mother Nature this past Saturday evening,  it was determined that the event will try again Friday night, October 7th; which, in return, allows many All-Star teams, including Holtgraver, to venture to central PA to grab a chunk of the action.  Racing is set to begin Friday night at 7:30, sharp!

On Saturday- Holtgraver, and the entire D4 program, will take advantage of their trip to central PA by also competing in the Hank Gentzler Memorial at Lincoln Speedway on Saturday night, October 8th.  The Abbottstown, PA, based event will feature the 410 sprint cars, as well as the 358 sprint car class, for a full night of  wheel-to-wheel action. The format will also consist of time trials for the 410 sprinters.
