Holtgraver Will End 2012 All-Star Campaign Saturday At Eldora Speedway!

Pittsburgh, PA (10/9/2012) – After a rather successful season on the All-Star Circuit of Champions trail, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania native Danny Holtgraver is ready to head back to Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio this Saturday, October 13th, to help close out the 2012 All-Star campaign. Eldora Speedway will be the last stop for the All-Stars this year; allowing one of the nation’s fastest and most exciting half-miles to put an end to one of the nation’s leading sprint car series. Holtgraver has earned three wins with the All-Star Circuit of Champions in 2012; including earning a victory with the series in front of his ‘home crowd’ at Lernerville Speedway in Sarver, Pennsylvania. The win came in dominating fashion; holding off charges by Tim Shaffer and Cap Henry to grab the $5,000 pay day. The Kargo Quality Cars and Trucks/Alternative Power Sources/Westview Motors ‘D4′ operation also earned All-Star Circuit of Champions’ wins at Attica Raceway Park in Attica, Ohio; and Wayne County Speedway in Orrville, Ohio. Each victory was worth $5,000.
“We had a really good year with the All-Stars” said Holtgraver about 2012, “I wouldn’t say it was a great year…there were still some races that didn’t turn out how we wanted them to…but all in all, we are pleased as a team and we learned a lot…I can’t thank my Dad, all of our sponsors, and my crew chief, Brian Kemenah, enough…everybody played a big part in 2012…hopefully we can close out the All-Star season with a win!”
Entering this Saturday’s All-Star Circuit of Champions event at Eldora Speedway, Holtgraver sits eighth (8th) in the ‘National’ All-Star standings, while maintaining the third (3rd) position in the All-Star ‘Ohio Region’ standings. If the Brian Kemenah lead ‘D4’ team can pull off an All-Star victory at the ‘Big E’ this weekend, it will be Holtgraver’s 10th overall win of the 2012 season; which includes victories at Lernerville Speedway, Mercer Raceway Park, Attica Raceway Park, Wayne County Speedway, and Pittsburgh’s Pennsylvania Motor Speedway.
“It’s been a great year” explained Holtgraver, “We want to go out on top…hopefully I can find victory lane this weekend to give my entire team really something to be proud of!”
