Pittsburgh, PA – 8/28/12 – Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania native and All-Star Circuit of Champions ‘Ohio Region’ competitor, Danny Holtgraver, will return to ‘410’ sprint car competition this Labor Day weekend by competing in three separate All-Star Circuit of Champions sanctioned events, at three different regional ovals, over the course of three days. Holtgraver, and the entire Kargo Quality Cars and Trucks/Alternative Power Sources ‘D4’ operation, will spend this upcoming Friday, Saturday, and Sunday in Ohio and Pennsylvania; racing  at Lernerville Speedway, Attica Raceway Park, and Wayne County Speedway. All three events will not only offer full All-Star ‘Ohio Region’ points, but also $5,000 pay days!

“I am ready to get back out on the road!” said Holtgraver with lots of enthusiasm, “It’s going to be fun to start the weekend at Lernerville…hopefully we can kick-off with a win in front of our friends and family at Lernerville and use that momentum for Attica and Wayne County…only time will tell!”

The Kargo Quality Cars and Trucks ‘D4’ team will start the upcoming weekend at Lernerville Speedway in Sarver, Pennsylvania. Holtgraver is the most recent sprint car winner at the Sarver oval; picking up the non-sanctioned ‘Fab Four’ finale win on Friday evening, August 24th, in dominating fashion. The former Lernerville Speedway track champion started the 25 lap sprint car main event from the front row on Friday evening and never looked back; leading every lap of the last regular season event at the Sarver oval. Hopefully, Holtgraver can use his recent Lernerville Speedway success when the All-Star Circuit of Champions make an appearance in Sarver, Pennsylvania this Friday, August 31st. If Holtgraver is able to defend him home track this Friday night, it would be Holtgraver’s second career All-Star Circuit of Champions victory!

On Saturday evening, September 1st, Danny Holtgraver will return to Attica Raceway Park in Attica, Ohio where he was victorious during All-Star Circuit of Champions competition for the first time in his young career earlier this season. The $5,000-to-win/ All-Star sanctioned event will have Ohio’s best sprint car competitors taking on the familiar All-Star invaders; along with a solid roster of Fremont/Attica Sprint Title competitors to help heat up the action. Holtgraver has lots of experience at Attica Raceway Park, and always loves returning to the always-racey 3/8’s mile oval.

“We love going out to Attica!” explained Holtgraver, “It’s such a fun place to race…and now that we have a big win there under our belts, it’s going to be fun to get back out there and use that confidence to hopefully win ourselves one more!”

Danny Holtgraver’s three-race swing will come to an end on Sunday evening, September 2nd, at Wayne County Speedway in Orrville, Ohio. The All-Star sanctioned event will also pay $5,000 to the winner, and award full points towards the All-Star Circuit of Champions’ championship. Just like Lernerville Speedway and Attica Raceway Park, this will be the last visit for the All-Stars to the Orrville oval in 2012.

During most recent All-Star Circuit of Champions competition on Saturday, August 25th, the familiar ‘D4’ team, lead by Brian Kemenah, finished second at Mercer Raceway Park in Mercer, Pennsylvania; passing former All-Star Circuit of Champions champion, Tim Shaffer, in the closing laps to secure the runner-up finish. Holtgraver was also able to turn the evening’s fastest time during qualifying time trials. Daryn Pittman would earn the $5,000 pay day.

“It felt good to finish second on Saturday night!” said Holtgraver, “We want to use that momentum for the upcoming weekend and hopefully earn some solid runs and find ourselves up front…I can’t wait to get back to action!”
