Huge Holiday Weekend Ahead for Jared Miley Racing

PITTSBURGH (June 30, 2016) – Independence Day weekend will be busier than ever for “The Jet” Jared Miley, set to enter three events in three days at three different Western Pennsylvania facilities. Miley, pilot of the Jared Miley Racing, Jay’s Auto Wrecking, Sprague Farm & Brew Works, Keystone Alliance Insurance Services,LLC of Spring City, Maloney’s Classic Cars of Meadville, Junior’s Cores & Recycling, Colussy Chevrolet, No. H1, will hunt for individual paydays reaching $4,000 during his holiday triple-header, with an overall weekend win total reaching five digits.
“We enjoy planning out big weekends like this. It keeps us motivated in the race shop during the week,” Jared Miley said. “One major benefit is that we are very familiar with all of the tracks we plan to visit this weekend. That helps take a little bit of the pressure away. We’ll go out and make the best of all three days.”
“The Jet” will kick-start his holiday weekend on Friday night, July 1, at the Thunder Mountain Speedway near Brookville, Pennsylvania. The ULMS Racing Series super late models will sanction all of the action, awarding $3,000 to the feature winner. Miley is the defending ULMS Racing Series champion and current series point leader.
Action will continue on Saturday night, July 2, at the Marion Center Speedway in Marion Center, Pennsylvania. “Twin 25” features for the super late models will highlight competition on “The Hill.” Miley owns one victory at the quarter-mile in 2016, his first victory of the season.
Jared Miley’s holiday weekend tour of Western Pennsylvania will conclude on Sunday evening, July 3, at the Dog Hollow Speedway near Strongstown. The Sam Barley Memorial Race will be the main attraction at the Indiana County oval, headlined with a 45-lap/$4,000-to-win main event for the super late models. Like Marion Center Speedway, Jared Miley is a recent race winner at Dog Hollow Speedway, capturing the Shawn “Sheetz” McGarvey main event in early June.
“I think we have the potential to win all three this weekend,” Miley explained. “We have a lot of great people with this team in 2016. Their help and support allows us to stay prepared in the shop, as well as at the race track. We’ll do our best to get another win for them.”
Jared Miley Racing will enter their upcoming triple-header with a recent start against the World of Outlaws Craftsman Late Model Series at Lernerville Speedway. Miley was scored 20th during the 100-lap/$30,000-to-win, Firecracker 100 main event on Saturday, June 25.
