Miley in action at PPMS last Saturday evening!

South Park, Pennsylvania’s Jared Miley put on a passing clinic this past Saturday night at Pittsburgh’s Pennsylvania Motor Speedway by charging from a 29th starting spot to finish 4th in the 51 lap, $5,000-to-win super late model Penn National 51! The Octane Graphix/Colussy Chevrolet/Fully Injected ‘H1’ had issues with the car’s water pump during heat race action. The poor heat race result would force Miley to start at the back of the evening’s feature starting field. The multi-time winner at Lernerville Speedway in 2012 ‘hard charged’ his way from the back to a near victory; passing 25 cars for position before the checkers flew. Fully Injected teammate, Gregg Satterlee, earned the Penn National victory.

This weekend, the ‘H1’ operation will head to Lernerville Speedway in Sarver, Pennsylvania on Friday night, May 11th, for a regular night of ‘Fab Four’ action; all before making a possible trip to Busti, New York on Saturday, May 12th, for a $3,000-to-win ULMS super late model event. The United Late Model Series (ULMS) event will feature some of the brightest super late model stars in Northwestern Pennsylvania and Southwestern New York; with Miley planning to show up to steal the show. The trip north may prove to be worth it; as the ‘H1’ has not finished outside of the top four in it’s last two starts. Miley currently has a nine (9) point lead in the super late model standings at Lernerville Speedway. Boom Briggs rides in the runner-up spot with John Garvin Jr. rounding out the top 3. The Western Pennsylvania hotshoe has two wins at the Sarver oval already in 2012, and looks to make it three in four weeks this Friday night!
