Regional super late model stand-out, Jared Miley, will venture back to the Sarver, PA, 4/10’s mile this weekend in search of another win, and a $3,000 pay day.. The super late model “Steel City Stampede” format at Lernerville Speedway, will feature a 25 lap, $3,000 to win, main event on Saturday night for the super lates; with preliminary heat race action taking place on Friday. Miley has found victory lane a few times in 2011; including Sheetz Victory Lane at Lernerville Speedway. In fact, the first night Miley was featured as a Fully Injected driver, was the evening he won at Lernerville. Miley’s 2011 resume also consists of a number of UFO wins; including Roaring Knob’s ‘King of the Knob’ worth $5,000.

Fastrak Northeast Touring Series star, Joe Martin, will also make his way to Sarver, Pennsylvania, this weekend for an opportunity to snag a ‘Steel City Stampede’ win. The Ringgold, PA, resident finished 6th in the final Fastrak Northeast points in 2011, and hopes to turn around a recent ‘Grand Nationals’ disappointment, into a victory lane appearance at Lernerville Speedway.  The Pro-Late/Crate ‘Steel City’ feature will consist of 20 laps, paying $1,000 to the winner. A large car count for the crate division is expected, adding more spectacle to the overall weekend festivities.
