Pittsburgh – 6/14/12] South Park, Pennsylvania’s Jared Miley will venture south into the heart of West Virginia this weekend to compete for a $10,000 top prize. The current super late model point leader at Lernerville Speedway in Sarver, Pennsylvania will take part in the ‘Little General Black Gold 50’ at Beckley Motorsports Park in Beckley, West Virginia this Saturday night, June 16th! The Black Gold 50 is not only a major marquee event in the state of West Virginia in 2012, but also a major marquee event in the entire upper-northeast; as the program is expecting a huge car count and a massive fan turnout for the unsanctioned $10,000-to-win contest. The 50 lapper will also guarantee $750 to each starter; making it one of the highest paying unsanctioned super late model events in the region.
Jared Miley will start his upcoming weekend at Lernerville Speedway in Sarver, Pennsylvania on Friday, June 15th. The Colussy Chevrolet/Octane Graphix/Fully Injected ‘H1’ has a 42 point lead in the Precise Racing Products DIRTcar Late Models point standings over John Garvin Jr. entering tomorrow night’s ‘Fab Four’ event. Miley has three wins at the Sarver oval in 2012, and recently earned a 4th place finish at the 4/10’s mile oval last Friday night. The ‘Little General Black Gold 50’ will highlight Jared Miley Racing’s weekend schedule. The tribute to West Virginia coal miners is set to begin at 7:00PM on Saturday evening – with gates opening at 4:00PM. This will be JMR’s first trip to Beckley Motorsports Park in 2012. The familiar ‘H1’ is coming off of a successful three-race swing last weekend through Pennsylvania and Ohio; resulting in three consecutive top 10 scores, including two 4th place finishes.
