Ringgold, PA (August 22nd, 2013) – Joe Martin Motorsports (JM2 Motorsports) will make their return to the Marion Center Speedway in Marion Center, Pennsylvania this Saturday evening, August 24th; taking part in the last leg of the FASTRAK Sweeney Cars Northeast Touring Division ‘Summer Sizzler Triple Crown’ worth $2,000. Joe Martin, who pilots the JM2 Motorsports, Allegheny Crane Rental, The George Washington Hotel, Spartan Thru Tubing, Extreme Plastics Plus, Neese Trucking, no. 55 crate late model, grew up watching weekly competition at the Marion Center quarter-mile oval, and is always excited to get back to ‘The Thrill On The Hill.’ This Saturday will be the Ringgold native’s fourth (4th) visit to the Marion Center Speedway in 2013.
Over the course of the 2013 season, Joe Martin and the JM2 Motorsports ‘55’ team have competed at the Marion Center Speedway a total of three (3) times. Martin finished inside the top-five during each appearance; including two runner-up finishes during FASTRAK weekly series feature competition. The Western Pennsylvania native’s most recent visit to the Marion Center oval took shake back on Saturday, June 8th; resulting in a runner-up finish. Thus far in 2013, Joe Martin and JM2 Motorsports have entered nearly thirty (30) crate late model events. The ‘55’ team has earned an incredible twenty (20) top-ten finishes, including fifteen (15) top-five finishes, during those near thirty (30) feature starts. Better known as ‘Business,’ Joe Martin owns one (1) victory during crate late model competition thus far in 2013; with that being earned at the Pittsburgh’s Pennsylvania Motor Speedway near Imperial, Pennsylvania.
