VINCENTOWN, N.J. (August 5, 2019) – Justin Whittall’s tenure at Port Royal Speedway continued on Saturday, August 3, this time visiting the ‘Speed Palace’ for the annual Living Legends Dream Race awarding a top prize equalling $10,000.

Whittall’s Dream Race experience was satisfactory, and although the Vincentown, New Jersey-native just missed a top-ten finish, crossing under the final checkers 13th in the running order, the former URC 360c.i. racer turned 410c.i. competitor did start sixth on the grid, earning his way into the evening finale by finishing third during the second semi-feature.

“That was a fun night,” Justin Whittall said, driver of the JW Motorsports/Atlantic Utility Trailer/Brotherton Brewing Company/Pioneer Auto Body/Worldwide Bearings/No. 67 sprint car. “Having the opportunity to honor Port Royal Speedway’s living legends was an awesome experience. Many of the best to ever drive a sprint car spent time at Port Royal Speedway. It’s a great place to race and we enjoy making the trip there from New Jersey.”

Justin Whittall will return to competition on Saturday, August 10, with a visit to the ‘Fabulous’ Lincoln Speedway in Abbottstown, Pennsylvania. Port Royal Speedway is off due to the Knoxville Nationals being contested in Knoxville, Iowa.
