Kittanning, PA – 7/6/12 } Kittanning, Pennsylvania native and Fully Injected ‘410’ sprint car competitor, Kevin Schaeffer, currently leads the sprint car point standings at Lernerville Speedway in Sarver, Pennsylvania, and plans to extend that lead Friday evening, July 6th. The former 3-time Lernerville Speedway sprint car point champion has an 18 point advantage in the current standings over fellow Kittanning native, Rod George, and, without a doubt, has been one of the most consistent drivers at the 4/10’s mile oval. Schaeffer’s consistency during the 2012 season has allowed the familiar Schaeffer Tire sponsored no. 9 to maintain the top spot; only finishing outside of the top 5 once during feature action thus far this season. The Schaeffer Motorsports entry has one win at Lernerville Speedway in 2012; that coming during opening night of competition back in late April. Rod George, Eric Williams, Carl Bowser, and former World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series regular, Brian Ellenberger, round out the top five in the current Lernerville Speedway Ti22 Performance sprint car point standings.
Tonight’s action (Friday, July 6th) at Lernerville Speedway will be a regular ‘Fab Four’ event featuring all four weekly divisions.
