Max Stambaugh Earns Win with NRA
Three Top-Ten Finishes for ‘Mad Max’ During Memorial Day Weekend

By Fully Injected Motorsports:

Elida, Ohio (May 26th, 2015) – The long holiday weekend proved to be beneficial for Elida, Ohio racer Max Stambaugh. The full-time K&L Ready Mix NRA Sprint Invaders competitor earned three consecutive top-ten finishes with the ‘360’ sprint car series during the recent weekend; including a victory on Friday evening, May 22nd at the Limaland Motorsports Park near Lima, Ohio. Stambaugh, driver of the familiar Specialized Therapy, Biggies Coast to Coast, Triple JJJ, Tim Hogan’s Carpet, Texas Roadhouse, Dale’s Concrete, K & L Ready Mix, Robb Avenue Body Shop, Radio Hospital, no. 6M ‘360’ sprint car, continues to hold down the top spot in the current NRA Sprint Invaders championship standings, pursuing a career-first series championship.

“I’m proud of what we accomplished this weekend” said Max Stambaugh, “Earning three top-ten finishes in a row, including a win, was huge for our team and huge for the season…a long weekend like that requires consistency if you want to keep yourself in a championship hunt and that is exactly what we did…our goal is keep that momentum up the rest of the year and keep ourselves on top of the NRA points.”

After his victory on Friday evening at Limaland, ‘Mad Max’ Stambaugh would continue on and earn a second consecutive podium finish and a top-ten finish to help close out the holiday weekend. Stambaugh earned a third place performance with the NRA Sprint Invaders on Saturday, May 23rd at the Waynesfield Raceway Park in Waynesfield, Ohio, followed by a ninth place finish during the NRA sanctioned ‘Johnny Appleseed Classic’ at the Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio on Sunday, May 24th. The 2014 NRA series championship runner-up will rejoin the series this Friday evening, May 29th back at the Limaland Motorsports Park.

“We’ll race with the NRA again on Friday at Limaland…we really have that place figured out” said Stambaugh, “We have a few plans on the table for the rest of the weekend but nothing is really for sure yet…Friday is our big priority.”

Plans for the rest of the weekend include a potential trip north to the I-96 Speedway in Lake Odessa, Michigan on Saturday, May 30th; joining the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series. Other potential plans include joining the All Star Circuit of Champions at the Millstream Speedway near Findlay, Ohio on Sunday, May 31st.  A decision regarding these plans will be made in the near future.
