PENNDEL, Pa. (June 24, 2019) – With the intent to build positive momentum before activating his 2019 Pennsylvania Sprint Speedweek campaign on June 28, Penndel, Pennsylvania’s Brett Michalski entered action at Williams Grove Speedway and Lincoln Speedway during the recent weekend, highlighting his two-race stint with an 11th place finish at The Grove on Friday, June 21.

Kicking off the evening with a heat race victory, Michalski started from the pole position for the 25-lap main event, slipping just outside of the top-ten by feature’s end to cross under the final checkers 11th in the running order. The result was motivating, as the recent Central Pennsylvania winner will have to visit Williams Grove Speedway twice during Pennsylvania Sprint Speedweek.

Unfortunately, a steering issue during Lincoln Speedway’s B-main on Fallen Firefighters Night kept Michalski from attaining a transfer position.

“Building confidence at a track like Williams Grove Speedway is important. It can be a tough place to get around, but we’re finding ways to improve on that,” Brett Michalski said, driver of the Brett Michalski Motorsports/JR Michalski Heating & Air Conditioning/Irish Rover Station House/York by Johnson Controls/Wood Services/Big Heads/Richboro Pub/Maxim Chassis/Don Ott Racing Engines/Kriner Engines/Penske Shocks/VP Racing Fuels/Hoosier Tire/Wings Unlimited/Racer’s Used and New Parts Warehouse/No. 73B sprint car. “We have a lot going on during the next two weeks. We’re ready to get started.”

Brett Michalski and Brett Michalski Motorsports will enter seven of nine Pennsylvania Sprint Speedweek dates, all which blasting off on Friday night, June 28, at Williams Grove Speedway. In addition, Michalski will enter Speedweek competition at Lincoln Speedway on June 29 & July 1, Grandview Speedway on July 2, Port Royal Speedway on July 3 & July 6, and Williams Grove Speedway again on July 5.
