NEPTUNE CITY, NJ (August 4, 2017) – It’s every sprint car driver’s dream to be able to compete on sprint car racing’s biggest stage, the Knoxville Nationals. That dream will become a reality for 23-year-old Kyle Reinhardt, as he will drive for Mike VanderEcken in the 57th Annual Knoxville Nationals this upcoming week. A native of New Jersey, Reinhardt has spent his sprint car career racing in nearby Central Pennsylvania as a part of the “Pennsylvania Posse.”

This year Reinhardt has split time between Wayne Quackenbush’s #91 and Ed Aikin’s #7. Now, he will jump aboard a new ride; the VanderEcken #10V for Southern Iowa Speedweek.

Reinhardt will debut in the car Sunday at the Capitani Classic before heading to Oskaloosa Speedway Monday for the Front Row Challenge. Reinhardt is scheduled to qualify Thursday for the Knoxville Nationals.

Reinhardt will be among a stout group of young drivers competing for the “Rookie of the Nationals.” Reinhardt’s realistic goal is to go for that award. “There’s a couple of real good, young rookies out there, but I hope to out them,” Reinhardt said. “That would be nice, but we don’t have any lofty expectations. We just hope to gell good with the team and get some good races in.”

“I can’t thank TheCushion.com and Capitol Renegade for sponsoring me for the Nationals,” Reinhardt quickly thanked. Reinhardt gratefully acknowledged that he would not have this opportunity without them nor Kevin Frey and Mike VanderEcken, as well as all of the car sponsors: Clark Construction, The Other Side, Northcote Locker, Columbia Tire, The Garage Hydro Graphics, Screen Tech, J & J Chassis, Keizer Wheels, Vortex Wings and DMI.
