NEPTUNE CITY, NJ – May 10, 2017 – Last time Kyle Reinhardt and the Wayne Quackenbush #91 teamed up, they set a blistering pace before their night was prematurely ended while racing for the lead.

After a month off, the team was ready to return to the track once again at Susquehanna Speedway Park this time for the Kevin Gobrecht Classic.

The night started off on a sour note as during Reinhardt’s time trial lap, the right front spindle nut stripped, subsequently sending the wheel flying. In what may have been the most impressive move of the night, Reinhardt corralled the now three-wheeled #91 and spun it to safety avoiding any further damage to the newly rebuilt chassis.

Unfortunately, Reinhardt would be unable to get an official lap for time trials putting him behind all night. Reinhardt moved forward through the B Main coming from the rear to finish fourth meaning the #91 would start 22nd in the 30-lap, $4,800 to win feature.

From there, Reinhardt put on a passing clinic utilizing the entire track surface to charge to a 9th place finish. On a night with many bonuses being awarded, Reinhardt was given the Brown and Miller Racing Solutions ‘Hard Charger’ award that paid $680. “We had a rough start, but I couldn’t be happier with how we were able to come back,” an elated Reinhardt said during a front-stretch interview upon receiving the ‘Hard Charger’ award.

Quackenbush Motorsports will now focus their endeavors to David’s 360 debut while Reinhardt will make his first start at Port Royal this Saturday in Ed Aikin’s #7. Reinhardt plans to race in Aikin’s #7 against the World of Outlaws at New Egypt Speedway later this month.

Wayne Quackenbush was quick to thank Capitol Renegade, Capitol Custom Trailers as well as Capitol Cadillac and Capitol Buick GMC for helping get the #91 to the track. Reinhardt couldn’t be more appreciative of his brother, Dave Reinhardt, for turning the wrenches as well as his parents for their continued support of his racing endeavors.
