David Gravel ends Jason Meyers’ five race win streak while picking up a $10,000 victory with the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series at Talladega Short Track in Alabama this evening. This was the first World of Outlaws win for the Connecticut native; who dominated the event and won by a margin of three and a half seconds over former World of Outlaws Champion, Donny Schatz.
Side notes: NASCAR Superstars, Kasey Kahne and Tony Stewart, were in competition this evening; with Kasey finishing 8th and Tony 11th.
