Second Squared for Sodeman, Tripleheader Including Action with All Stars Next!

NORTH JACKSON, Ohio (July 26, 2016) – Jack Sodeman, Jr. has been on a roll in Western Pennsylvania and shows no signs of stopping anytime soon.
The North Jackson, Ohio, native has earned ten consecutive top-five finishes during 410 sprint car competition in the western half of the Keystone State, including a pair of runner-up performances on Friday and Saturday, July 22-23, at Thunder Mountain Speedway and Mercer Raceway Park. Sodeman, pilot of the Glassmere Fuel, Economy Tooling, PRS Transit, Townsend Gas & Oil, Inc., Butlerbuilt, Keizer Aluminum Wheels, Simpson Race Products, Triple X Race Components, No. 23JR, has a combined win total reaching five victories thus far in 2016, two at Lernerville Speedway and three at Mercer Raceway Park. In addition, Sodeman owns the point lead at each of the facilities he has been victories at, extending the potential for a Western Pennsylvania championship sweep.
“It was a hard, competitive weekend for sure. Happy to leave Thunder Mountain and Mercer with podium finishes,” Sodeman explained. “We were close on both nights, obviously, just not close enough. We have something really good going on right now with our team. Things have been going our way and we’ve been able to take advantage of that. The results are exciting. We have a big weekend coming up so we’ll work to keep our streak alive.”
Jack Sodeman, Jr. will enter three events in three days during the upcoming weekend, all of which taking shape at three different Western Pennsylvania short tracks. The weekend trio will ignite officially on Friday night, July 29, at the Lernerville Speedway in Sarver, Pennsylvania, with Fab Four weekly competition. Sodeman’s last appearance at Lernerville Speedway resulted in a victory.
Once his Lernerville Speedway visit is complete, Sodeman will switch gears and turn his attention toward Arctic Cat All Star Circuit of Champions competition for two rounds of the I-79 Summer Shootout presented by Classic Ink USA. The 2015 Mercer Raceway Park track champion will join “America’s Series” at Pittsburgh’s Pennsylvania Motor Speedway on Saturday, July 30, as well as at Tri-City Raceway Park in Franklin on Sunday, July 31. Each event will award a $5,000 top prize, with a $3,000 point fund also up for grabs.
