‘September Sweep’ Up Next for The NDRL’s ULMS & UEMS at Eriez Speedway
East Smethport, Pennsylvania (September 4, 2013) The NDRL’s ULMS Late Models and UEMS A&MP Electric Emods will tackle Eriez Speedway in Hammett, Pennsylvania this upcoming Friday and Saturday, September 6 and 7 for the event dubbed as the ‘September Sweep’ that will feature a $3,000 to-win clash on Friday before a $5,000 to-win feature event on Saturday for the ULMS Late Models while the UEMS Emods will complete their qualifying and heat races on Friday before their $2,000 to-win main event on Saturday.
Mike Knight of Ripley, New York continues to lead the NDRL’s ULMS 2013 Championship point standings with a commanding 62 point lead over Bear Lake, Pennsylvania’s Rick ‘Boom’ Briggs. Matt Urban from North East, Pennsylvania sits third in the championship standings while Centerville, Pennsylvania’s Robbie Blair is fourth just six points ahead of fifth place Russ King of Bristolville, Ohio. Blair leads the series in wins with five and has also captured eight total victories in weekly action at Eriez Speedway.
Steve Dixon of Smethport, Pennsylvania leads the NDRL’s UEMS A&MP Electric Emod contingent into the ‘September Sweep’ with a 74 point lead over Olean, New York’s Randy Hall and 92 points over Hall’s teammate and car owner Vic Vena of Portville, New York. Mars, Pennsylvania’s Carl McKinney sits fourth in the point standings 16 points ahead of East Springfield, Pennsylvania’s Ken Zimmer.
The NDRL’s ULMS Late Models and UEMS Emods will be joined by the stars and cars of Eriez Speedway’s weekly regulars as well as the challengers and street stocks. Racing is set to kick-off each night at 7:30pm. Please visit www.eriez-speedway.com for gate times and ticket information.
Race teams are reminded that there is a $50.00 entry fee each day for ULMS Late Models and a $25.00 entry fee for the UEMS Emods.
