Fremont, Ohio (June 17th, 2015) – After losing an event to Mother Nature at Attica Raceway Park on Friday evening, June 12th, the Fremont/Attica Sprint Title Championship Series moved ahead to the Fremont Speedway in Fremont, Ohio on Saturday, June 13th, welcoming two new winners to the F.A.S.T. victory circle in 2015. The Kistler Racing Products Fremont/Attica Sprint Title ‘410’ Championship Series presented by KS Sales & Service and the JLH General Contractors Fremont/Attica Sprint Title ‘305’ Championship Series presented by Engine Pro each made an appearance at Fremont on Saturday night; officially crossing the halfway point of their 2015 campaigns.

“We’ve been pretty lucky so far this year with the weather but that can only go so far” said Rich Farmer; F.A.S.T. Series promoter , “Mother Nature kept us from racing on Friday but Saturday proved to be another competitive night…I’m sure the second half of the season will be just as competitive as the first.”

Craig Mintz earned his first F.A.S.T. ‘410’ Championship Series main event victory of the 2015 season on Saturday night at Fremont Speedway. Mintz, a former F.A.S.T. champion, joins an elite list of winners on the F.A.S.T. circuit in 2015 which includes defending champion and point leader Byron Reed, Ohio veteran Dean Jacobs, Cap Henry, Chris Andrews, and current All Star Circuit of Champions traveler Chad Kemenah. The F.A.S.T. ‘410’ arena has witnessed three different repeat winners thus far in 2015; Dean Jacobs, Chris Andrews and Cap Henry each earning two.

After ten rounds of F.A.S.T. ‘410’ Championship Series competition, it is Byron Reed still on top of the current $10,000-to-win championship standings. Reed holds down the fort with 1275 points; a 52 point margin over Genzman Racing’s Cap Henry who is second in the current title chase with 1223 points. Recent winner Craig Mintz finds himself third in the standings after ten rounds with 1213 points; followed by Dean Jacobs and Chris Andrews. F.A.S.T. championship action will not resume until Friday and Saturday, July 10th & 11th back at Attica Raceway Park and Fremont Speedway.

John Ivy earned his first F.A.S.T. ‘305’ Championship Series victory of 2015 at Fremont Speedway on Saturday, June 13th. Not including Mother Nature’s victory on June 12th at Attica, Ivy became the fifth different winner during F.A.S.T. ‘305’ competition this season. Ivy joins the victory list with Jordan Ryan, Bobby Clark, Jamie Miller, and Texas native T.J. Michael.

After only six rounds of action, and only 44 points separating first through fifth in the current championship standings, the F.A.S.T. ‘305’ Championship Series has lived up to its competitiveness once again in 2015. ‘The Tiger’ Bobby Clark holds a loose lock on the top spot in the current $2,000-to-win standings with 698 points. Opening night winner Jordan Ryan follows closely behind with 684 points; riding a 14 point gap between himself and Clark. Alvin Roepke will move into round seven on July 4th third in the standings with 682 points; followed by Steve Rando and Ricky Peterson.

“Our ‘305’ class has been getting stronger and stronger every year” said Rich Farmer, “It’s a class that is affordable and it’s a class where a lot of our top ‘410’ guys got their start…the drivers put on a show every time they hit the track and it really hits hard with our fan base.”

The JLH General Contractors Fremont/Attica Sprint Title ‘305’ Championship Series presented by Engine Pro will return to competition on Saturday, July 4th at the Waynesfield Raceway Park in Waynesfield, Ohio. It will be a first-ever appearance by the F.A.S.T. ‘305’ Championship Series at a facility outside of the Attica/Fremont circle. The series regulars will battle for a $1,000 pay day on July 4th; joining the annual ‘Bob Reynolds Memorial’ weekend card at the Waynesfield oval.

“We are really excited for our guys to go over to Waynesfield” said Farmer, “A great way for these drivers to gain the extra exposure that they deserve, as well as honor the late Bob Reynolds.”

There are currently 18 dates on the F.A.S.T. ‘410’ Championship Series schedule in 2015; stretching from mid-April until early August. The F.A.S.T. ‘305’ sprinters will headline 11 events in 2015, with an inaugural visit to the Waynesfield Raceway Park scheduled for Saturday, July 4th. The 2015 F.A.S.T. ‘410’ title will once again be worth $10,000 to the series champion. $2,000 will be awarded to the 2015 F.A.S.T. ‘305’ series champion.
