Skidmore Memorial on the Jared Miley Weekend Agenda, Bedford Speedway First

PITTSBURGH (July 15, 2016) – “The Jet” Jared Miley will continue his 2016 campaign with a pair of super late model programs in Pennsylvania and West Virginia, aiming to score an overall payday equaling $13,000. The weekend will ignite officially later this evening (July 15) at Bedford Fairgrounds Speedway in Bedford, Pennsylvania, followed by a trip to Elkins Raceway near Kerens, West Virginia, on Saturday, July 16.
“We’ve been hitting a lot of regional events in 2016,” Jared Miley said. “Being based in Pittsburgh gives us a lot of opportunities to race in major events throughout Pennsylvania, Ohio, and West Virginia without a ton of travel time. Hopefully we can keep our season going in the right direction and score another trip to victory lane.”
Dubbed the Billy Winn Classic, the Bedford Fairgrounds Speedway will celebrate 80 years of operation during their July 15 program, awarding $8,000 after 50 laps of feature competition. Jared Miley is a recent visitor to the Bedford half-mile, joining the region’s best for Appalachian Mountain Dirt Late Model Speedweek.
Elkins Raceway will host the 6th annual Skidmore Memorial on Saturday evening, July 16, headlined with a $5,000-to-win super late model program.
