SPRINTS HEAD FOR WISCONSIN RACES AT WILMOT, SUN PRAIRIE

       Jon Stanbrough of Danville, Ind. leads the AMSOIL USAC National Sprint Car series to a pair of Wisconsin appearances this weekend.

       Stanbrough leads defending series champion Levi Jones by just 10 points entering Saturday’s race at Wilmot Raceway and Sunday night’s race at Angell Park Speedway in Sun Prairie.

       It’s been 17 years since Jack Hewitt won USAC’s last Sprint race at Wilmot, while J.J. Yeley won USAC’s last Sprint race at Angell Park in 2002.

       Damion Gardner, Hunter Schuerenberg and Brian Clauson each won twice so far this year, while Darren Hagen, Tracy Hines, Bobby East, Bud Kaeding and Chris Windom have also earned feature wins.
