Stambaugh Will Battle ‘All Stars’ at Attica Raceway Park
HD Supply ‘Spring Nationals’ This Friday and Saturday

By Fully Injected Motorsports:

Elida, Ohio (March 31st, 2015) – Max Stambaugh will attempt to ignite his 2015 season for a third time this Friday and Saturday when the UNOH All Star Circuit of Champions invade the Attica Raceway Park near Attica, Ohio for the HD Supply ‘Spring Nationals.’ Stambaugh, pilot of the Specialized Therapy, Biggies Coast to Coast, Triple JJJ, Tim Hogan’s Carpet, no. 6M sprint car, will join ‘America’s Series’ for two full programs this Friday and Saturday, April 3rd & 4th; hoping to jump start the year in a positive manner and help defend Ohio dirt against the traveling All Stars. Stambaugh, the 2014 NRA ‘360’ Sprint Invaders championship series runner-up, will head into the weekend still searching for a career-first ‘410’ sprint car victory. The Elida, Ohio native will compete for a total of $8,000 over the course of the upcoming weekend; with $3,000 being awarded on Friday and $5,000 on Saturday.

“This is a big event…a great way to start the year” said Max Stambaugh, “We’ve been trying to start our year for a while now…our original plan was to go to Florida but my work schedule interfered…we were hoping to race last weekend at Attica’s opener, but of course Mother Nature didn’t allow that to happen…hopefully things go according to plan and we get both days in this weekend…we are really excited…getting to race the ‘410’ stuff allows us to be exposed a little bit more; especially at races like the spring nationals…it will make us better when it comes time to run the ‘360.’”

‘Mad Max’ Stambaugh will compete in the ‘410’ ranks as much as possible during his 2015 campaign, while still following the entire K&L Ready Mix NRA ‘360’ Sprint Invaders schedule. The upcoming NRA season does not activate until Friday, April 17th when the ‘360’ sprint car tour visits the Limaland Motorsports Park near Lima, Ohio. Stambaugh finished second in the NRA championship standings in 2014; trailing champion JR Stewart by less than 40 markers. ‘Mad Max’ will also be piloting the Chris Hartnell Motorsports ‘48H’ sprint car for select shows in Wisconsin during the upcoming season. More on that to be released in the near future.

“Having a mixed schedule with ‘410’ and ‘360’ shows gives us a lot of options” said Stambaugh, “We are going to hunt for an NRA ‘360’ title this year…that’s our main goal.”
