T.J. Michael Hopes to Rebound After Frustrating Weekend in Michigan

By Fully Injected Motorsports:

FREMONT, Ohio (July 7, 2016) – After a frustrating weekend in Michigan with the Arctic Cat All Star Circuit of Champions, scoring back-to-back 22nd place finishes, one of which the result of getting upside down after contact at I-96 Speedway, the “Texas Traveler” T.J. Michael has already set aside the negativity and will work hard to rebound during his upcoming visit to eastern Ohio.

Michael, pilot of the Advanced Cast Stone, Fremont Fence Company, Kear’s Speed Shop, Shell Shock, Hinchman Suits, Snap-On, Kistler Racing Engines, Maxim Race Cars, No. 8M, will continue his Arctic Cat All Star Circuit of Champions rookie campaign with the $10,000-to-win, 8th annual Lou Blaney Memorial at Sharon Speedway on Saturday, July 9. Michael made one prior visit to Sharon Speedway in 2016, finishing 11th during Ohio Sprint Speedweek presented by Cometic Gasket on June 21.

“We had a rough weekend. Some of it was out of our control, but we’ll put that weekend behind us and move forward,” explained Michael. “We’re excited to get back to Sharon this weekend. We had a great run during Ohio Sprint Speedweek there, so that gives us a little more momentum heading back. I can’t thank my guys enough for their hard work. We’ve been up and down the road a lot this year. Luckily, we’ve kept ourselves out of trouble for the most part, which is great, but other times, we don’t get as lucky. They bust their butts to keep me on the track. I’m thankful to have the support that I do. It’s been a great summer. Looking forward to the second half.”

The “Texas Traveler” T.J. Michael will enter the Lou Blaney Memorial currently seventh in the Arctic Cat All Star Circuit of Champions title chase, earning four top-ten finishes in 23 main event starts. Michael also owns three hard charger awards during the course of the season.
