T.J. Michael Swings Through the Midwest, Ohio Doubleheader On Deck

By Fully Injected Motorsports:

FREMONT, Oh. (May 23, 2016) – T.J. Michael’s rookie campaign with the Arctic Cat All Star Circuit of Champions continued on Friday and Saturday, May 20-21, in two separate areas of the Midwest, both of which new to Michael. The Plano, Texas, native visited Lincoln Speedway in Lincoln, Illinois, and Wilmot Raceway in Wilmot, Wisconsin, during his recent weekend road trip, earning a pair of main event starts, a B-main victory, and enough points to maintain the fifth position in the current championship standings. The “Texas Traveler” finished 18th at Lincoln Speedway and 22nd at Wilmot Raceway.

“We had a pretty decent weekend out west,” said T.J. Michael. “It was fun to visit two new tracks and check out areas we’ve never raced in. The results really weren’t where we wanted them, but we had fun and continued to learn. Can’t thank my team enough for their hard work and support. We’ve been busy. I couldn’t do it without them.”

Michael, pilot of the Michael Motorsports, Advanced Cast Stone, Fremont Fence Company, Kear’s Speed Shop, Shell Shock, Hinchman Suits, Snap-On, No. 8M, will continue Arctic Cat All Star Circuit of Champions competition this Friday and Saturday with repeat visits to two different Ohio facilities. Action will ignite on Friday evening, May 27, at Attica Raceway Park in Attica, Ohio, followed by a trip to the Wayne County Speedway in Orrville, Ohio, on Saturday, May 28. Michael is a former 305 sprint car main event winner at the Attica short track, as well as a former 410 main event runner-up at Wayne County Speedway.

“It’s always fun to travel, but it will be nice to work out of our own shop this week and weekend,” explained T.J. Michael. “We are familiar with Attica and Wayne County, having some success at each, so there won’t be a ton of pressure on us this weekend. We’ll head into the weekend with the same goal in mind. Hopefully we can get up front and earn a few solid finishes.”
