The New Stateline and Wayne County Next for “The Jet”

PITTSBURGH, PA. (July 21, 2016) – The new Stateline Speedway in Busti, New York, will celebrate 60 years of competition later this evening (Thursday, July 21), awarding $10,060 after 60 laps of super late model competition. Pittsburgh’s own Jared Miley plans to travel north and join in on the anniversary celebration, hunting win number six of 2016, as well as another high dollar payday to add to his long list of racing accomplishments. Miley will enter Stateline’s gates just three victories behind last season’s total.
“This is a big one,” Miley explained. “Racing on Thursdays doesn’t give us a lot of time in the shop, but we’re ready for this one. I think if we keep ourselves out of trouble early, we’ll have a shot. 60 laps is a long time. We’ll keep ourselves in the hunt early and work up front. A big payday like this would be a great way to set the tone for the rest of the weekend.”
On top of his visit to Stateline Speedway, Miley, pilot of the Jared Miley Racing, Jay’s Auto Wrecking, Sprague Farm & Brew Works, Keystone Alliance Insurance Services,LLC of Spring City, Maloney’s Classic Cars of Meadville, Junior’s Cores & Recycling, Colussy Chevrolet, No. H1, super late model, plans to enter two additional events during the upcoming weekend, including the Don Gross Memorial at Wayne County Speedway on Saturday, July 23. The $4,000-to-win, STARS super late model event will be contested in conjunction with Buckeye Late Model Dirt Week. Miley’s plans for Friday, July 22, have yet to be determined.
Jared Miley scored a top-ten performance during his most recent super late model start, finishing seventh officially during the Skidmore Memorial at Elkins Raceway near Kerens, West Virginia.
