Three Races in Three Days Ahead for Danny Dietrich;
Records Top-Ten Finish at Williams Grove Speedway on Friday, April 1

By Fully Injected Motorsports:

GETTYSBURG, Pa. (April 4, 2016) – After making routine visits to Williams Grove Speedway and Lincoln Speedway on Friday and Saturday, April 1-2, “Double-D” Danny Dietrich returned to Gary Kauffman Racing headquarters on Saturday night with another top-ten finish to his credit, his seventh of the season.

The Gettysburg, Pa., native finished 10th during feature competition at Williams Grove Speedway on Friday night, April 1; a third consecutive top-ten performance at the world famous half-mile during the first three weekends of action. Dietrich, pilot of the Gary Kauffman Racing, Sandoe’s Fruit Market, Hickory Run Orchards, Weikert’s Livestock, Carlisle Auto Salvage, CATS Used Truck Parts, No. 48, started tenth on the feature grid before losing a tire, eventually recovering to finish exactly where he started after going to the tail of the field.

“Friday night was OK, but still not where we want to be,” explained Danny Dietrich. “Anytime you can leave a racetrack with a top-ten finish is good, especially after going to the tail. That just shows how fast we really were. We’re still trying to get everything dialed-in. My guys keep pushing forward and I appreciate what they do for this race team. We’ve had some opportunities to win this season, we just came up a little short. We have a big weekend coming up so we’ll start fresh on Friday night and work for that first win of the year.”

Danny Dietrich was on track to finish inside the top-five during his Lincoln Speedway appearance on Saturday, April 2, but was cut short after making contact with another driver during his battle toward the front of the field. Dietrich was scored 23rd, ending his four week top-ten streak in the Pigeon Hills.

Action will resume for Gary Kauffman Racing this Friday through Sunday with a Central Pennsylvania triple-header; three consecutive nights of 410 competition at three different facilities, beginning with a return to Williams Grove Speedway in Mechanicsburg on Friday night, April 8. Lincoln Speedway in Abbottstown will play host on Saturday night, April 9, followed by a trip to Susquehanna Speedway near York Haven for the first time in 2016 on Sunday, April 10.

“We’re anxious to get back at it this weekend,” explained Danny Dietrich. “We have three nights on tap, so that gives us three nights to get the ‘48’ up front. We’re excited to get back to Susquehanna Speedway. We had some success there in 2015, so that gives us a little extra motivation to get back there. I just want to thank my car owner and all of my sponsors and supporters for their hard work. Hopefully we can give them and my fans something extra to cheer about this weekend.”
