BROWNSBURG, Ind. (July 2, 2018) –  Tony Stewart’s weekend in Indiana and Illinois with the Arctic Cat All Star Circuit of Champions presented by Mobil 1 was consistent to say the least, finishing tenth and eleventh, respectively, during starts at Plymouth (Ind.) Speedway and the Dirt Oval @ Route 66 (Ill.) on Friday and Saturday, June 29 & 30.

For Stewart, owner of the All Star Circuit of Champions, the weekend was successful, as well as consistent, earning main event starting positions through each of his respective heat races, also qualifying within the top-two of each of his respective time trial groups.

“It was a consistent weekend for our team. I’m up against some of the best in the business, so to finish within the top-ten or just outside of the top-ten is saying something,” Tony Stewart said, driver of the Tony Stewart/Curb-Agajanian Racing/Rush Truck Centers/Textron Off Road/Ford Performance/Curb Records/Sage Fruit/No. 14 sprint car. “I’m starting to get more and more comfortable in the car. It’s a lot of fun to go out and race with these guys. If anything, they are making me a better racer.”

Stewart’s feature results only fluctuated by one starting position each night, advancing from 11th to finish tenth at Plymouth Speedway on Friday and advancing from 12th to finish 11th at the state-of-the-art Dirt Oval @ Route 66 on Saturday.

Up next on the schedule is an array of possibilities. Smoke may be found in Pennsylvania during select Pennsylvania Sprint Speedweek programs over the course of the next seven days. Another possibility exists in the form of another All Star Circuit of Champions start, this time joining the Series for the annual Lou Blaney Memorial at Sharon Speedway on Saturday, July 7. Stewart is a former winner of the Lou Blaney Memorial, claiming the inaugural prize in 2009.
