SHREVE, Ohio (June 3, 2019) – Despite two days of weather interference, ‘T-Rev’ Trevor Baker joined the best of the best at Mansfield Motor Speedway during the recent weekend, taking part in the second-ever Sprint Car World Championship on Thursday through Saturday, May 30-June 1.

Although Thursday’s opener and Saturday’s $100,000-to-win finale would eventually fall victim to Mother Nature, Friday’s World Championship preliminary program went on as scheduled. Baker, who has been participating in a week-by-week, ‘true outlaw’ style schedule, represented his fans and partners well during the sprint car blockbuster, ultimately qualifying for World Championship preliminary competition and ending his evening with a 16th place finish on the scorecard.

The $100,000-to-win finale will be made up later this season.

“We enjoyed ourselves. The weather hasn’t been too kind to us this year, but we enjoy racing when we can. With work, it’s tough to do a lot of traveling because we have been so busy, but when we do race, we seem to have some speed,” Trevor Baker said, driver of the T-Rev Performance/Baker’s Mobile Home Transport/Exodus Cycle/Coblentz Trucking/No. 45 sprint car. “I’m not sure of our plan this weekend, but we’ll make some sort of decision later in the week.”

Trevor Baker and T-Rev Performance will decide on upcoming weekend plans later in the week. Fans are encouraged to stay alert on social media.
