Working Man Weekend on Deck for Jared Miley Racing

PITTSBURGH (August 30, 2016) – For the second time in 2016, “The Jet” Jared Miley will have the opportunity to face-off against the nation’s top super late model competitors in his own back yard; joining the World of Outlaws Craftsman Late Model Series for the Working Man Weekend at Lernerville Speedway on Friday and Saturday, September 2-3.
Miley, pilot of the familiar Jared Miley Racing, Jay’s Auto Wrecking, Sprague Farm & Brew Works, Keystone Alliance Insurance Services,LLC of Spring City, Maloney’s Classic Cars of Meadville, Junior’s Cores & Recycling, Colussy Chevrolet, Octane Graphix, Brougher’s Machine Shop, No H1 super late model, will join the World of Outlaws Craftsman Late Model Series during both segments of the Working Man/Labor Day weekend special, chasing one of the $2,500 top prizes up for grabs on Friday, September 2, as well as the $20,000 winner’s share on Saturday, September 3.
“We’re pretty excited to get this weekend going,” Jared Miley explained. “The season has been successful for us for the most part and we’d like to keep that trend going. This is a big weekend for our team with it being so close to our home and race shop. Many of our sponsors will be in attendance.”
Miley will enter Labor Day weekend with four World of Outlaws Craftsman Late Model Series main event starts to his credit in 2016, resulting in two top-ten feature finishes, including one top-five.
“The World of Outlaws have a pretty powerful group that travel full-time,” Miley said. “But I think we have what it takes to be the successful underdog. We’ve been close.”
In addition to World of Outlaws Craftsman Late Model Series competition at Lernerville, Jared Miley will revisit Dog Hollow Speedway in Strongstown, Pennsylvania, on Sunday night, September 4. The annual Connor Bobik Memorial Labor Day Special will take over the Indiana County venue, featuring a 41-lap/$4,000-to-win feature program. Miley is a former winner of the Connor Bobik Memorial, seeking to be the event’s first repeat champion.
