Zearfoss Inside Top-Five at Williams Grove,
One All Star start, Port Royal & Susky ahead

JONESTOWN, PA (August 16, 2016) – For the seventh time in 2016, the “Jonestown Jet” Brock Zearfoss earned his way to a top-ten finish at Williams Grove Speedway, this time during competition on Friday night, August 12. The Jonestown, Pennsylvania, native finished fourth during his recent appearance, advancing from row four on the feature grid, fading to tenth before eventually climbing to a top-five. Included amongst his seven top-ten feature finishes at The Grove is a main event win, the first of his career, occurring on June 3.
Other recent results for Brock Zearfoss includes an 11th place performance at the “Fabulous” Lincoln Speedway on Saturday night, August 13. Zearfoss made the trip south after his intended destination, Selinsgrove Speedway, was taken over by Mother Nature.
“We faded back some on Friday night, but ended up working our way back toward the front,” Zearfoss said. “We have some things really figured out with this new Maxim. We are becoming more and more comfortable, which also helps with our confidence. We’ll try to repeat this Friday night when the All Stars come to town.”
Up next on the schedule is a trio of events in Central Pennsylvania, one of which against the Arctic Cat All Star Circuit of Champions on Friday night, August 19, at Williams Grove Speedway. The pilot of the Brock Zearfoss Racing, Moose’s LZ Bar & Grill, Meckley’s Limestone, Central Builders Supply Co., Leach’s Automotive, Masters Mechanical Insulation, Comprehensive Test and Balance, Berkebile Oil Company, No. 3Z entry will continue competition on Saturday, August 20, back at the Port Royal Speedway, followed by a visit to Susquehanna Speedway on Sunday, August 21.
Zearfoss is currently fourth in the Port Royal Speedway track championship standings, 265 points out of the top spot.
“I can’t thank my team enough for their hard work,” Zearfoss said. “We still have a lot of big programs coming up on our schedule. We have the potential and the work ethic to finish up front and that is exactly what we will try to do.”
A potential plan to join the Arctic Cat All Stars at Grandview Speedway on Thursday, August 18, is also in the works.
